I sat at the waiting room at RoseVine Hospital. As soon as I had arrived, Fiona was taken the operating room and I was able to meet the doctors that were going to be taking care of her. I felt some relief, even though I was still trembling and my legs kept buckling underneath me every time I tried to stand and stretch them out.

I was still grateful that FFiona didn’t die. She was not as young as the rest of us and one small slip up could have marked the end of her life.

“I really hope that she is okay.”

Dakota had called and I went off on her. I wasn’t going to come to her little Wednesday meet up. I had no intention of going. the only way that she was going to get me out of here was if she kidnapped me.

As I sat in the waiting room, reading a few pamphlets, my phone buzzed beside me. It was Emily.

“Enny!” her high voice came over the phone, nearly deafening me. She was bubbly as always, even whens he was sad. “We were told that you weren’t going to be coming to work today
