Chapter 20

It was like a three-sixty-degree shift the behavior of Sara toward me. At first, I thought she was a conservative woman but her recent actions towards me proved otherwise. It wasn't as though she'd just become seductive to me. Oh no, it was quite the opposite. It was as though she became quite attentive to herself which I found as a very attractive trait.

Tonight, there was no meal prepared for me so I fixed myself some toast and a bowl of custard and milk. That night, I slept with her in my arms. Sara was usually not a clingy person and she would even give herself some distance from me if I asked that we stay together, but today, she seemed to hold onto me like I was some sort of vegetable.
