"Happy birthday," He muttered.

"Why did you call me here?" I asked and wiped my tears, trying my best to control my emotions.

"Cupcake" I moved back when Alex took a step to hug me and showed him my hand.

"I'm someone's wife," I uttered the word with every ounce of courage.

"you're not… That man is a monster... He lied"

"Alex" I interrupted him and looked into his eyes. "I won't hear a single word against my husband." His expression turned into pain as I hurt him with my words. I'm sure it wasn't easy for him to see love for someone else in my eyes, but Satan won my heart and I can't do anything about it. Moreover, he is my husband now and no one can replace him.
