Chapter 46: Encounter with Alex

I look around me. I'm on a beach, the water crystal clear and softly crashing into the sand. I recognize this, I've been here before. It was on holiday, three years ago. With my ex. The scar on the back of my neck is starting to hurt. I turn around and there he stands. “Alex,” I say with wide eyes. “Hello, my love.” He says back and I look at him.

Somewhere far away I hear my name being called and I frown, wondering what it is. But then Alex takes three steps towards me, demanding my attention again. “Remember this?” He asks and he looks around. “What are we doing here?” I ask him and he takes another step towards me.
