“So… what about the werewolf earlier?” I struck up a conversation as Zaylen and I walked.

“What about it?” Zaylen asked, arching an eyebrow.

“Who was it?” I asked curiously.

“Oh, he was Jackson. He turned sixteen, so he transformed fully today for the first time. That’s why he lost his control,” Zaylen informed me.
