Mike started the car without a word but halfway to the house, his eyes met Liza’s and they both laughed like little children who just escaped a punishment.

“Oh Mike, you will not put me in trouble one day.” Liza told him even as she kept laughing.

“Me?” Mike was aghast, “I will have you know I had never tried necking in the car since I was sixteen years, but since I fell in love with you, I found myself doing things I would not usually do, so whose fault is that?” Mike asked in an affronted tone.

“Ditto nigga. I was a good girl before you came into my life also, so don’t try to place the blame at my door.” Liza refuted calmly.

“Then, should we agree the fault belongs to nobody but Love?” Mike’s gaze was soft as he brought the car to a park in front of the house.

“Love? Never! Love cannot be at fault. Not when he gave me the best man in the whole world.” Liza denied, unaware they were at home already.
