Over at Mike’s office where he was pretending to be working, he got a brief call and he was glad for the excuse to leave his desk.

“Hello boss, she is now leaving the restaurant. What should I do next?” The voice waited for his boss’s instruction.

“Do Nothing! Just drive her home or to wherever she wants to go, but keep your eyes and ears open and if there is any new development, keep me updated. Make sure she does not know you are acting a dual role as bodyguard and a driver.” Mike instructed calmly.

“Noted, boss. I will do as instructed.” He then ended the call just as he saw his madam rushing over to where he was parked, having waited for her to finish at the restaurant.

At the other end, Mike dropped his phone while staring out of the window with bitterness in his gaze.

Then he walked over to his desk again to sit. As if he was now totally a different person, a sudden change came over him and his whole look became chilling and fearful.
