Moving a chair backward for Liza to sit, Mike wordlessly took his own seat beside her as he opened the dishes to serve them.
“Oh, there is also dessert to go with it?” Liza asked with a smile, forgetting her irritation with Mike for cutting short their romance.
Distracted from his thoughts, Mike turned to give Liza a smiling glance before going back to what he was doing.
“Well, yes, after finishing up the pasta you were cooking, I quickly wiped up a dessert to accomplish it and it was no stress, they are things we have stocked in the fridge.” Mike explained with a smile as he gave Liza her plate of pasta with grounded beef.
“Hmmm, it smell so delicious, I can’t wait. For a reason, I am famished and It seems i can eat a horse right now.” Liza told him with a serious face.
