Seeing that she looked faint, Officer Bruce moved Suzanne to the hospital’s chair to have a seat. Then he crouched beside her chair.
“And that’s all? Are you saying you expect us to believe this?” He asked her.
“Why not! It’s the truth.” She told him frowningly.
“Well, that’s left for the police to decide. We will need you to come to the station with us for an official pen down and then we would carry out our investigation. Your story is hard to believe, ma'am.” He told her in a soft tone.
“Unfortunately, I believe her. She has no reason to lie. Besides, I’m sure she said the truth and if I had been calm enough, I would have known the answer to my questions.&rdqu
