Chapter 1
I often see their portraits in the mansion, Senyor and Senyorita. Whenever they have bonuses, they get it from our housekeeper, and sometimes when I don't have school, Mom and Dad would take me along to get the bonus.
As for their only child, I haven't seen him yet. I've only heard about him from the stories of other workers here. They often talk about how handsome and kind he is, especially to Clara.
I never really took an interest because I know we're just their workers, and it's unlikely for me to be noticed. What I know about him is that he's seven years older than me.
I heard he works in the large Saavedra company, aside from their dairy business. They also have a construction company.
Clara's cousin even got a job as an office clerk in the Saavedra construction company. It's true that they're kind because they can provide more than just work here on the hacienda. They can help with education until one finishes and then hire them in their company, just like Clara's cousin.
That's also what I plan to do, which is why I study hard because when I go to college, they can support my education. Even though Mom and Dad never say it, I know they're struggling with expenses.
I came into their lives a bit late, so in the next two years, they will be Senior Citizens. And when their acquaintances who don't know me see them, they often mistake me for their grandchild.
It took nearly three hours for Julia to finally give birth to her baby boy. I was worried for her during labor because I remembered when she was born, we lost her mother, and I didn't want the same thing to happen to Julia and her baby boy. I kept praying that everything would be fine.
"You're all dirty too!" Marco teased me and pinched my cheek. I swatted his hand to make him let go, giving him a stern look.
"Leave me alone!" I scolded him, and as usual, he just laughed at me.
Since everything was okay now, I said goodbye to Mom and Dad, telling them I would freshen up before going home. Our house is quite far from the ranch.
It's not surprising since the Saavedra hacienda is huge, and our house is located at the far end. It takes almost an hour to get home. Luckily, there's a nearby waterfall on the Saavedra's land where you can bathe, so I decided to go there first.
"Let's go to the waterfall!" I called out to Marco, and he nodded in agreement. We hardly ever see anyone at the waterfall because most people prefer to go home and rest after work. It's usually just the two of us who go there for bonding or to have a picnic.
Clara sometimes teases us because we seem like a couple in the things we do. She even jokes if Marco is already courting me or if one of us has feelings for the other. She wonders if anyone has confessed to me or Marco yet. I usually just shake my head and sigh to get her to stop bothering me.
I hung my shirt on a low branch of a tree, and Marco turned to look at me, asking if he could take a bath. I raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Are you thirsty?" I asked him with a hint of curiosity. He just stared at me without giving me an answer, so I approached him.
"Hey, what's going on? Are you really thirsty?" Before I could annoy him, he suddenly approached me and excused himself.
"I'll just get some bamboo over there!" He seemed to be joking around again because he didn't wait for my response and quickly left in front of me. This guy is really weird sometimes!
By the way, there's a type of bamboo here that has water inside, which Marco wanted to get. Well, let him do it. He'll follow soon since he can't stand the stickiness on his body.
I bit my lower lip as a thought crossed my mind. Marco wasn't here yet, so it should be fine! I unbuttoned my shorts and hung them together with my shirt.
I laughed at my appearance, wearing just a bra and panties alone at the waterfall. Oh well, I hope no supernatural beings fall in love with me! That would be scary if it happened! I quickly jumped into the water to hide my body and cleanse myself.
I was enjoying my swim so much that I didn't realize how long Marco was gone. I didn't even notice that I had reached the lower part of the waterfall because of the hot weather and the refreshing coolness of the water on my body. I thought of sitting below the waterfall to let the water pour over me. Unfortunately, the rush of water was strong and it poured onto my body.
After a while, I felt my bra loosen on my chest! Luckily, it was a plain tube style without any lace. I screamed as the water washed away my bra.
Chapter 2I looked around, but Marco still wasn't there! Shit! I quickly descended to catch my bra if the water had carried it away. Luckily, Marco hadn't arrived yet! I would have fainted if he saw me half-naked! Since I'm used to swimming, I was able to retrieve my bra."Damn it! That scared me!" I muttered to myself while holding my bra up. My breasts were fully exposed, but fortunately, I was the only person there."Wow, nice breasts. Round and big!" It felt like my soul left my body when I heard a unfamiliar voice coming from somewhere."Wow, nice breasts. Round and big!" Until now, I couldn't get his words out of my mind, and I still felt the intense heat on my face and ears from embarrassment!Who is that guy? I just saw him now, and it seems like he's not from here! He's too fair-skinned, as if he hasn't been under the sun! He even looks like he has foreign blood because of his height. He's taller than Marco and definitely not a local."W-who are you?!" My anxiety reached the
Chapter 3"G-g-good morning, ma'am." Even though I was still confused about what was happening, I tried to gather my thoughts to greet them properly and avoid being perceived as rude. But it's really hard to get over the fact that the guy who saw my boobs at the waterfall was the Señorito! And then, suddenly, the whole surroundings became dark. And there it was, I nodded because while I was alone in the house earlier, I had a moment to think. The gathering at the Saavedra's was for the arrival of the Señorito, and the guy at the waterfall earlier looked like a stranger! What if he was one of the Señorito's guests? What if they told the Señorito about what happened at the waterfall? It wouldn't just be embarrassing for me, but also for Mom and Dad. And what if the news spreads and becomes gossip? I didn't want to be the talk of the workers on the hacienda!"You're such a killjoy!" Clara immediately confronted me as soon as she saw me sitting in Julia's stable, watching the mother and d
Chapter 4"How was your first day with the Señorito, my child?" Mom asked me while we were having dinner. I swallowed my food and took a sip of water. I wanted to tell them that I didn't want to go back tomorrow! But I knew they would be surprised if I did that.I smiled to let them know that everything was fine, and then I started to share my day with them."It was okay, Mom. I just followed the Señorito and his friends all day, and if they needed anything, they would tell me.""That's good if they're nice to you, dear." If only they knew, Mom.Nice? I don't think they know the meaning of the word! Especially that girl, Miss Andi, who was constantly clinging to the Señorito like she was his girlfriend. Clara must have been mistaken when she said that the Señorito didn't have a girlfriend because on my first day with them, I witnessed all sorts of indecent behavior. It's a mess. Here's what happened..."Good morning, Selena. How are you?" The Señora greeted me, and I don't know why, b
Chapter 5"Oh, by the way, Marco, there's a bee house there. Can you accompany me to check it?" the Señora asked, and they disappeared in front of us, leaving the Señorito and me.I didn't know what to do or say when it was just the two of us and they left. So I decided to stand up from where I was and look at the floor.Urgh! It's too awkward! I'm not the only one working on the ranch. Why didn't they choose someone else? But if I think about it, Marco and I are the only young ones, and most of the others are older, like Mom and Dad, and there are more male workers here."Are you still thinking about yesterday?" I heard the Señorito speak after a few minutes. I slowly raised my head and looked at him. Our gazes met once again. I couldn't bring myself to look away because it felt like his eyes had some kind of magnet! He slowly walked closer to me, and I couldn't escape the scent of his intoxicating cologne! You know the feeling when you just want to embrace someone because they smell
Chapter 6"The gang is planning to go to the town fiesta tonight! They told me to bring you along once we're done here at the hacienda.""I can come; I just need to ask permission from my dad—" But before I could continue, she interrupted me."You've used that excuse too many times! I've lost count of how many times you've said it but never showed up! Lena never joins our outings!""But I'm worried that Mom will be concerned if I don't ask permission." We don't even have cellphones to message each other."I already mentioned it; I bumped into Aling Saling, and she agreed!" My eyes widened."Really?" I couldn't believe it and asked her again. She nodded in response."Yes, that's why you don't need to panic anymore. Aling Saling even said..." She mimicked my mom's voice. Sigh."Take care and don't stay out too late." That's what my mom often says when I'm going somewhere.Clara and I chatted for a while before deciding to return to the mansion to ask permission from the Señorito if I co
Chapter 7I don't know if it's just my imagination, but this feels like the longest ride to the town. As far as I remember, it only takes about twenty minutes to reach the town using Mang John's farm truck, but why does it feel so long now that we're riding the Señorito's luxurious car?"They said they're waiting near the fountain in the middle of the plaza," Clara whispered to me. I suddenly wondered if there was a parking lot for the Señorito."Where do you think the Señorito will park?" I quietly responded to her. "It's a fiesta in town, so the parking lots might be full. I don't really know where else the Señorito can park." When I looked ahead of us, Clara and I saw that the Señorito was busy looking for a parking space. From inside the window, I could see that the parking lots were indeed full. "Kia keeps messaging, asking where we are," Clara said again. "Tell her we're here, just looking for parking for the Señorito." Clara leaned closer to me, and she whispered, "They're gett
Chapter 8It was only then that I realized that we were still holding hands, but it wasn't just a casual hand-holding. We were doing the theme of holding hands while walking. My eyes widened, and my whole face grew warm with embarrassment!I quickly pulled my hand away from the Señorito's hand and distanced myself slightly from him, overwhelmed by embarrassment."I-I'm sorry, Señorito!" It was only now that I understood why our friends were looking at us that way."I-I was just excited to see you..." I averted my gaze from the Señorito and continued what I wanted to say."I didn't realize that I was already holding your hand, Señorito. I'm sorry." I stammered, and my eyes took on a more masculine look when the Señorito took his hand out of his pocket and gently patted my head.My lower lip trembled, and I felt my whole face grow even warmer with what the Señorito did, while he stared directly into my eyes.Urgh! What are these weird feelings I'm experiencing? Why am I only realizing t
Chapter 9"I want this, this, and this." His eyes widened as he pointed to the fishballs, kikiam, and chicken balls."Alright, I'll get them for you, Señorito." I happily responded and used the stick I was holding to skewer a piece of fishball. Just like what I did with the kwek-kwek, I blew on it first and then dipped it in the sauce provided by the vendor before offering it to the Señorito, taking it straight from the frying pan.As I enjoyed feeding the Señorito, I completely forgot that we had been separated from our friends."They're so sweet together.""I wish everyone would feed each other, even if it's just with fishballs, it's a date.""Ate is so lucky, Kuya only has eyes for her. I hope I find a guy like that, who only looks at me even with all those girls trying to get his attention.""I hope you find someone like that too." They laughed subtly, and I discreetly glanced at the group next to us. I wondered who they were talking about, but my eyebrows furrowed when I saw them
