That's An Ironic Coincidence

Naomi's POV

Lucas' face was in flabbergasted again for the third time tonight. I think I'm giving him too much pressure by telling him my story, or maybe because he was surprised about my revelation.

I mean, who wouldn't? I'm working in LM Fashion Incorporation as a fashion designer, but I'm also resenting Mrs. Manoban because of what she did long years ago.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have said that."

"No no, I'm curious and confused." He said, shaking his head furiously.

"Why?" I asked with soft chuckles.

"You are working at LM company, and you are mad at one of the Manoban. So that means you have a plan?" He asked, though I could see the curiosity in his eyes, I still couldn't help but to feel off the way he looked at me and his smile that barely reached his eyes.

"Okay, in my defense, before you think something else why I want the job in LM, I have nothing against that company nor the new CEO, I just love that company that's why I chose to work there and whatever resentment I had toward
