Alumni Homecoming

Naomi's POV

Everything is ready, everyone is in position and they are just waiting for the event to start.

I was preparing myself for the event tonight while my boyfriend is nowhere to be found. He told me before he left the house that he needed to take care of something about his company so I let him go but he promised that he would drive me to the venue and he'll be back before 7.

"You looked so beautiful." The woman behind me amusedly stared at me and I could see her through the reflection of the mirror in front of me.

"Thanks, you looked gorgeous too." I smiled.

"I wonder if my ex boyfriend would tell me the same thing once he sees me." Jamie said as she stood up gracefully from my bed and she walked behind me, reaching for the zipper of my dress. She pulled it up slowly while staring at me in the mirror. "I'm so envious of you, Naomi."
