To flee for her life or help?

The Don of the most powerful mafia family in the whole world was crumbling just a few feet away from her.

He made a weak gesture, as if telling her to go.

But when he tried to take another step, his shivering legs failed him.

He slumped hard against the wall, and Lia instinctively rushed to assist. She grasped him before he fell.

"Are....you...okay?" She stuttered.

Lia's physical contacts with his skin suddenly made his muscles enlarged and he sweat profusely.

It was until now that he realized his drink had been manipulated with some aphrodisiac drugs to force out his sexual urges. Who could've done this?

The only plausible answer is the closest ally to him, Matteo.

"That bastard, he hissed."

He pushed her away with surprising strength for a man in his state.

"Don't touch me," he ordered in a rough, deep voice.

Lia's body flinched.

"I'm sorry," she quickly apologized, raising both hands in surrender. "I was only trying to help."

"I don't need help."

He forced himself upright, but the effort cost him. His legs gave way and he fell. This time harder, and on Lia's chest.

Her breath hitched. He's currently on her, his big sexy chest touching hers. She couldn't deny the fact that the don was extremely handsome and hot, but that's not the problem now, everything is totally wrong.

He slowly looked down at her.

She saw the raw, undisguised heat in his eyes.

An intensity she had only ever read about but never truly witnessed.

Her body responded before her mind could catch up.

A current shot through her, sharp and electrifying.

She wanted to move, to push him away, to run, but something in her didn’t want to, anxious and desperate to see what will really happen next.

Trapped by the weight of his body and the force of his gaze.

Lorenzo lowered his head slowly, giving her every chance to turn away.

She didn't.

His lips brushed against hers tentatively at first.

Testing. Then he kissed her.

It wasn't gentle or polite. It was demanding, hungry, consuming.

A kiss that claimed her without words.

He shifted, deepening the connection, and the fabric of her dress bunched up around her thighs. His fingers dug into her skin, anchoring her to him, to this moment, to this madness.

"I gave you every chance to turn away, but you didn't. Shall I have this moment?." He asked, his voice so ragged and low.

Lia's mind was a storm. Every rational thought screamed at her to stop this.

But her body... her body was speaking a different language entirely.

A language she didn't recognize.

"Yes......"

The word came out as a whisper.

A guttural sound came from him next, as he dragged her closer and his hands moved with purpose over her body, and down to her underwear.

The fabric of her panties, which had been a barrier seconds ago, became a flimsy nuisance he resolved to eliminate.

She gasped when he tore it.

He's rough, impatient, but she can't deny she doesn't want it.

He positioned himself at her entrance.

And when he finally thrust inside, Lia's back arched off the floor.

A cry escaped her lips as he filled her completely, stretching her, possessing her. The slight pain mingled with a pleasure so intense it bordered on agony.

Lorenzo began to move, a hard rhythm that stole the very air from her lungs.

"Awnnn...stopppiiittttt...more...pleaseee." She heard herself beg.

Each thrust sent a fresh wave of sensation through her, building something deep inside her core.

The world narrowed to the sound of their bodies, the scent of his skin, the sight of his face above her, contorted in a mixture of pleasure and struggle.

He was losing himself, and taking her with him.

His name fell from her lips like a prayer.

A broken, breathless plea.

It doesn't look like he will be freeing her anytime soon, as he turned her round and bent her over on the sink counter with one leg raised.

Lia's cheek pressed against the cool marble, the sensation a sharp counterpoint to the fire blazing through her veins.

She watched through the mirror as he positioned himself behind her.

His reflection met hers in the glass.

His eyes were black pools of raw desire.

Her own reflection stared back, a stranger with flushed cheeks and parted lips, her body already yearning for the next invasion.

He entered her again from behind, the new angle making her cry out.

The pace was brutal, relentless.

His hands gripped her hips, pulling her back to meet each powerful thrust.

The sounds that filled the restroom were obscene.

Wet skin slapping against wet skin.

His harsh grunts.

Her unrestrained moans.

Lia felt the pressure coiling within her, tighter and tighter, a spring wound to its breaking point.

She was so close.

So impossibly close.

Her entire existence narrowed down to the exquisite tension, the desperate need for release.

One of his hands left her hip and snaked around, finding the sensitive bundle of nerves at her apex.

He circled it with expert precision.

That was all it took.

The world shattered.

Colors exploded behind her closed eyelids.

A wave of pleasure so intense it was almost painful crashed over her, and she screamed his name, her body convulsing around him.

He followed her over the edge moments later with a roar that seemed to shake the very foundations of the mansion, his body pulsing as he spilled into her.

They collapsed against the counter, both trembling and breathless.

The aftershocks rippled through Lia's exhausted body.

The silence in the room was broken only by the ragged sound of their breathing.

Lorenzo’s weight was heavy on her back, a grounding force that kept her from floating away on the sea of sensation.

For a long moment, neither of them spoke.

Then, slowly, he straightened, pulling out of her.

The sudden emptiness was a shock.

Lia felt a warm trickle of their combined release run down her inner thigh, a sticky, shameful reminder of what they had just done.

Reality began to seep back into the hazy corners of her mind.

She pushed herself upright, her legs feeling like jelly.

Her dress was a ruined scrap of fabric, barely clinging to her frame.

Lorenzo stood behind her, his back to her, bracing his hands on the sink as he stared at his own reflection.

His face was a mask of conflicted emotions.

The drug-induced haze was fading, replaced by something colder, harder.

Anger and rage.

Lia’s heart sank.

She wrapped her arms around herself, feeling suddenly exposed and vulnerable.

She had just had sex with Lorenzo De Luca.

The head of the family Matteo belonged to.

The most dangerous man in the room.

And now, it seemed, he couldn't even look at her?

Just then, he turned to her and took some steps closer and held her cheekbone smoothly.

"Lady, you just saved me from eternal shame. A Lord like me mustn't rape or hurt a defenseless girl, I was set up to lose my legacy in this game."

She blinked surprisingly.

"Listen, young lady. I don't know who's friend you are or came with, but I'll pay your owner millions and even billions just to claim you", he promised as he dressed up.

"But for now, excuse me while I go back to pay back some dues," he added, as he pulled out a big roll of cigarette and lit it.

Lia was left speechless.

Her brain struggled to process his words.

Claim her?

Pay her owner?

She wasn't a piece of property to be bought and sold.

A surge of indignation warred with the lingering tendrils of desire coiling in her stomach.

She watched him take a long drag from his cigarette, the glowing tip a fierce point of red in the dim light.

He was calmer now, the tremor gone from his hands.

"I'll find you. Bye for now"

Then, he left.

Lia stood alone in the aftermath, the silence pressing in on her.

She walked to the sink and splashed cold water on her face, her movements automatic.

She needed to think.

What was she going to do?

Go back out there?

Pretend nothing had happened?

She could still hear the faint murmur of voices from the dining hall, the clinking of cutlery, the illusion of a normal, sophisticated evening.

It felt like a different world.

A world she no longer belonged to.

Her gaze fell on her reflection in the mirror.

“I'm in trouble……”

……..three hours earlier…. In the back corner of a parking garage that smelled like motor oil and old cigarettes, Alessandro sat behind the wheel of a car that wasn't his, watching a man named Paolo Ferretti approach with the particular walk of someone who already suspected he was about to have a very bad day.Paolo slid into the passenger seat without being asked, glancing around the garage twice before settling, his hands folded tightly in his lap."You said this was about a business opportunity," he said."It is." Alessandro didn't look at him, eyes fixed instead on the concrete pillar ahead of them. "Just not the kind you're imagining.""Then what kind?""Marco Ferretti." Alessandro let the name sit there a moment. "Your son."Paolo's jaw tightened, the first crack showing. "What about him?"“You see, the Ricci's clan has the highest connection to the police in the underground. And I've gotten some papers against your son,” he whispered, lighting a cigarette.“What paper?.”"Eight

Alessandro's room looked like a crime scene by midnight, if the crime in question involved excessive paperwork and a complete disregard for filing systems.Enzo had been at it for nearly six hours, sleeves rolled up, a wall of printed documents taped across the living room in no order Alessandro could immediately understand, three separate laptops open on the coffee table, each one blaring a different tab of financial records, news archives, and what appeared to be someone's entire family tree scrawled across a whiteboard in red marker."There has to be something," Enzo muttered, flipping through another stack of printouts, licking his thumb before each page like it might reveal a secret faster that way. "A man doesn't run a criminal empire for thirty years without leaving one mistake lying around somewhere.""Some men do.""No." Enzo shook his head firmly, grabbing another folder off the pile. "No, everyone's got something. A spoiled family. A bad investment. An unpaid debt to the wr

The squad's room sat tucked away on the top floor of the arts building, a space they'd claimed for themselves back in freshman year and never once had to defend, since everyone on campus knew better than to ask who it belonged to. A haze of smoke curled lazily near the ceiling, a bottle of something expensive and half-empty sat abandoned on the windowsill, and Gabriel was losing spectacularly at cards while Bianca counted his money with obvious delight.Matteo sat sideways in an armchair, one leg draped over the arm, scrolling through his phone with the particular kind of stillness that meant he was thinking about something he found deeply satisfying."You're smiling," Sofia said, not looking up from her own hand of cards. "Weirdly.""I don't smile weirdly.""You're doing it right now."Bianca glanced over, immediately intrigued. "Oh, he's definitely doing it."Matteo tucked the phone away, unable to fully wipe the smile off his face even as he tried. "I've just had a good day.""Defi

Lia had learned by now that when Lorenzo said "dress comfortably," it rarely meant what comfortable meant to anyone else, so she stood at the mirror turning sideways for the third time, trying to guess what kind of comfortable a man who owned three separate wine cellars considered acceptable."You're overthinking it," Raven said from the doorway, arms crossed, watching her with the patient exhaustion of a bodyguard who'd already been asked for her opinion twice."I'm not overthinking it.""You changed twice in the last ten minutes.""That's not overthinking. That's diligence."Raven only raised an eyebrow and said nothing else, which somehow felt worse than if she'd argued.By the time Lia made it downstairs, Lorenzo was already waiting by the car, and whatever nerves she'd carried down with her promptly dissolved into something closer to disbelief. He wore no suit. No cufflinks, no tie, nothing pressed or tailored within an inch of its life, just dark jeans and a simple linen shirt w

Enzo had been sitting in the same booth for two hours, and the waitress had already refilled his espresso three times out of what he suspected was pity rather than service. He checked his phone again. The message hadn't changed since the first time he read it."Be at Nonna Lucia's Trattoria, 3pm. Come alone. V."It was almost four."If this is some kind of joke," he muttered to no one, "I swear to God."The bell above the door chimed, and Enzo looked up out of habit more than hope, and nearly choked on his espresso.Alessandro stood in the doorway, looking exactly as confused and exactly as unamused as Enzo felt, scanning the half-empty trattoria until his eyes landed on him."You," Alessandro said."You," Enzo said back, equally delighted and horrified.Alessandro walked over slowly, like he was hoping the scene might rearrange itself into something that made more sense, and slid into the booth across from him. "Tell me you're not here for the same reason I am.""Depends. Did your fa

The phone call reached Nico Romano just after sunrise, and by the time he understood what it meant, he was already pulling his jacket on with one arm and shouting orders with the other."Say that again," he barked into the phone, weaving through the hallway of his estate. "Slower.""Unknown men," his port manager said, voice shaking audibly over the line. "They showed up an hour ago with paperwork, said the whole route's been sold. Our own guards let them through, Don Romano, they had clearance codes, current ones, I don't understand how, ""Get every man you can reach. I want cars moving in five minutes."By the time they tore through the gates of the port, morning light spilling flat and gray across the water, half the Romano family's soldiers were already spilling out with weapons drawn, fanning out across the loading docks like they expected a war to already be underway.Nico stepped out last, gun in hand, jaw set, scanning the scene for whatever enemy had dared to walk onto his t
