JACE POV I stand back in the doorway of the kitchen, where neither Ella or Jude can see me, and I watch them. I don’t mean to eavesdrop, but I don’t want to interrupt their conversation either. Listening to Jude confess his feelings gets me right in the center of my chest. I’ve never seen the big guy speak this way or act the way he does with Ella. He is truly in awe of our girl, and I couldn’t be happier. He needs this in his life.
