CHAPTER 126

Ash POV

I don’t know who is more surprised by the kiss but Caspian recovers quickly as he presses me against him and kisses me hard.

I pull away from him gasping for air. "We should go inside," I say with my head down.

"Indeed," he says with amusement and kisses the top of my head.

He removes his hand from my waist and grabs my hand. He pulls to the door and holds it open until we both go through the door.

I immediately smell cooking but Caspian doesn't let me go and just pulls me through the living room and to the stairs. We stop in front of his room and he still holds me tightly.

"Caspian," I say gently as he opens his door.

"Yes," he responds but doesn't make any attempt to look at me.

"Let me go to my room and clean up. I will join you in a moment." I say as gently as I can even though I am fighting the urge to smack the back of his head.

"No," he says without any explanation.

I open my mouth to protest and he pulls me into the room and shuts the door. He closes the gap between us
