As he wheels inside his bedroom, Edward finds Charlotte nodding off placing the magazine on her chest. She looks exhausted and pale at that time. He goes next to her, and gently rubs the middle of her eyebrows to help her relax before placing her head on the pillow. The moonlight dances on her sleepy, calm face in slow motion.

“ You are the same as her. Pure and beautiful.”

He whispers, gazing at the moon which is shining the world along with Charlotte's beautiful face. A sharp exhale leaves a bitter expression on his face, shrouding his heart with heaviness. He wheels outside, stopping before the garden.

“ Edward! This garden is a sign of our unconditional love. We will shower with moonlight every month. Promise!”

Edward's corners of his lips curve into a sweet smile as his mind is reminded of those words, Replaying the scenes of a girl who was enjoying the moonlight, dancing under the moonlight, making promises that never happened to be fulfilled, and loving him unconditionally.
