Evelyn

I clenched my teeth at the sound of his voice, not because I loathed it, but because of the unsettling effect it had on me, pulling every fiber of my being toward him. My hands balled into fists at my sides before I summoned the courage to turn and face him. A sharp intake of breath almost escaped me as our eyes met once more—those piercing green eyes of his never failed to captivate me.

You have got this, Evelyn. You can do it.

"Well, Maybe I was leaving because I simply didn't want to look at your fucking face," I shot back, a hint of venom lacing my words. A faint smirk tugged at his lips, as though he doubted my sincerity. In truth, he probably did.

I so badly wished he couldn’t read me so easily.

"I don't think you hate seeing my face," he said, setting the beer bottle down on the counter with a soft clink. The kitchen was far from silent—the wind outside whispered through the open window, tousling his already unruly hair and adding to his ethereal allure.

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Trapped

SiennaCalm down. You hate him. Yes, Sienna, you fucking hate him—just remember that. Only that. But those abs... hating them seemed unfair to god—to his creation.I held my breath as he glanced at what looked like a mirror, drying his hair with one hand while holding the phone low with the other. And—if I had to describe it as best as I could—I caught a glimpse of his side, the sharp line of his waist, a teasing hint of that V, the sculpted perfection of him. The angle... it was a straight-up thirst trap, the kind that clogs your feed with stupid reels—but Alex wasn't an influencer. He didn't have to try. Just existing, he made one. Perfectly.God! His jaw was so fucking sharp."I almost thought you wouldn't pick up." He raised the

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Not Easy

SiennaCherry has terminal cancer. Yeah — that sentence had been stuck with me since Alex dropped me off. It lodged in my head the moment she said it, so casually, as if she'd already accepted her fate. It hurt to look at them both, knowing one of them was counting her days.I didn't know why it hurt so much — a woman I'd only met today, and already the idea of her dying felt like a physical ache. The doctor hadn't given a timeframe. A year, two, a few months — anything was possible. I didn't know how Thomas would cope; from what I'd seen, he loved her so much— it made my chest ache.Watching them that day, despite the tragedy, filled a gaping hole inside me. It was painful and oddly beautiful to see love still exist so fiercely in this stupid world full of shallow people. The night passed like that — tossing, turning, rep

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Cracks In The Armor

SiennaIt took me a while to relax—for my shaky legs to behave, for my heart to stop hammering like a relentless drum. Yet that infuriating smirk on Alex's face never faded, even as he watched me slowly settle. This game? He was savoring it. Of course he was—he'd held the upper hand from the very start.I wasn't inexperienced. I'd had sex more times than I could count. But nothing—nothing—had ever come close to the way he could unravel me with just his fingers. Silver rings and all.He was clean. Too pristine, almost unholy in a way. His face screamed sanctity, yet the thoughts he stirred in me were anything but holy. Fuck—I was spiraling again."So... do you like it?" he broke the silence, sipping his cappuccino slowly, deliberately. A sick, selfish part of me wanted to taste it—from his lips."Like what?""T

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Danger and Pleasure

SiennaFor the first few minutes, I couldn't form words—I was too flabbergasted, too stunned by the audacity of it all. My lips parted to finally speak, but Alex beat me to it. As Always. He suddenly pressed harder on the accelerator, the car roaring as it surged forward. My heart lurched into my throat. What in the—"What the hell are you doing, Alex? Slow down!" I gasped, my eyes glued to the blur of the road ahead, mind spiraling."There's one thing I've never done in my life, Flower..." His gaze cut to me instead of the road, which only made my pulse spike harder. "...and unfortunate for you....that's slowing down."Before I could react, his hand moved with a deliberate, terrifying confidence—unzipping my shorts and slipping inside.Fuck!"Alex!" My breath hitched as his fingers grazed over me, j

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Chasing The Magic

SiennaI hadn't gotten ready like he'd ordered me to over the phone—and why would I? I wasn't about to let that asshole win, no matter what had happened between us.So here I was, trying to bury myself in a book. Mom always used books to distract herself, so I figured I could too. Except it wasn't working for me the way it did for her. My eyes glazed over the words, but my brain refused to quiet.By the time I was halfway down the fifth page, Mom's voice echoed from downstairs."Evelyn, come here!""Why?" I shouted back."Just come here. You'll see."With a sigh, I dropped the book and dragged myself down the stairs—only to freeze at the bottom.Alex stood at the doorway. Roses in his hand. A smile on his face. Not his usual cocky smirk, but a real, genuine smile."Ma'am, you're even p

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Healing With The Devil

Sienna"So, did you have fun last night?" Mom asked, casually flipping through a book as if she weren't prying into my soul.Dad had already gone to the office by the time I returned home, and surprisingly, neither of them had said a word about me being gone all night. Not even a complaint. Maybe they assumed I'd stayed at Kelly's like I usually did sometimes."Yeah," I answered, though the bitterness in my voice betrayed me.Technically, I had fun—if you ignored the first part where I caught my boyfriend cheating on me. After Alex... well, everything after that was a blur of.....dangerous pleasure?"Where did you stay last night? At Kelly's or Ryatt's?" Mom pressed, her tone light. "Let me guess—at Ryatt's. Since it was your birthday!" She sang the last part, grinning. If only. She couldn't have been more wrong.
