How rich is this man? Yes, I know he’s one of Jackson’s business partners but I have no idea he was this rich rich.

“I promise to pay back the money as soon as possible.” I know he wouldn’t agree but I have to say that to save my dignity.

Meanwhile, I was jubilating inside that that money was safe in my account.

“You don’t have to.” He took the bag that contained his food from the waitress, pulled out a hundred-dollar bill, and tipped her before gesturing for me to start walking.

I stepped out of the restaurant and looked around but couldn’t find any car anywhere.

“Are you….” I drawled when a sleek and good-looking car pulled up in front of us. I have no idea about cars but one could tell a car is expensive by just looking at it.

“Our ride is here,” Rowan said beside me.

Our ride? This wasn’t our ride, more like the one he was forcing me into.
