When Serenity arrived home at Solaria, Jackson was standing outside, waiting for her.

It was already 10 PM. Because she was pregnant, the driver had driven really slowly throughout the journey to ensure her comfort.

When Serenity saw Jackson, tears welled up in her eyes, not only because they had not seen each other for 10 days, but also because there was now a new life growing inside her, a new life that carried both their bloodlines.

As Serenity stepped out of the car, Jackson approached her and embraced her tightly. His first words were: "I'm sorry."

Confused, Serenity asked, "For what? Why are you suddenly apologizing?"

"I'm sorry. It's my fault. I should have been more careful and taken better precautions not to get you pregnant," he murmured softly.

Understanding dawned upon Serenity as she comprehended his apology. "There's no need to apologize. In fact, I'm happy that I can still conceive," she responded.
