SERENA'S POV

I am struggling to catch my breath, panting extremely hard as I cling tightly against him, still enjoying the delicious feeling of physical blood moving through my body. He thrusts harder while he groans, his fingers gripping tightly against my hips, moving himself brutally and slamming so fast into me that my eyes begin to spin. I find myself getting dizzy from the overwhelming sensations coursing through my veins.

"Serena," he whispers hoarsely, his voice thick with desire. "You're consuming me in every way."

Everything is all just too much to bear, too much to contain. My brain is feeling so hazy as I continue to shiver, sinking my fangs deeper into that beautiful vein in his neck, enjoying the intoxicating feeling of his blood moving past my lips and down my throat. The metallic taste with its underlying sweetness floods my senses, heightening everything around me—the scent of our bodies, the sound of our skin meeting, the feeling of him inside me.

  • My Hatred, My Soulmate    Chapter 174: Surrendering to Desire

SERENA'S POV Strong, powerful, uncontrollable sensations are flooding in and out of my body with overwhelming force, making my moans loud and sharp into the night. The intensity builds with each passing moment, my senses heightened to an almost painful degree as waves of pleasure crash through me.At this point in time, I seriously do not care about my parents. I don't care what they think. I don't care what they are going to say or think about the young man currently entangled between my legs, slamming hard into me and making me feel so many strong, overwhelming sensations I never expected I was going to feel from him the moment I first knew him."Serena," he whispers against my neck, his voice thick with desire. "You feel incredible."He holds me tightly against himself, encircling my waist as he kisses and sucks my nipples, pounding and slamming hard into me while he groans and whispers sweet, seductive words into my ears. The sensation of his hot breath against my skin sends shiv

  • My Hatred, My Soulmate    Chapter 173: Uncontrollable Desire

SERENA'S POV Due to the fact that it's my parents' apartment, Damon decides to stay in the guest room while I return back to my own bedroom. As I close my door behind me, I immediately collapse onto my bed, tossing and rolling restlessly on the soft mattress. Sleep eludes me completely. I find myself unable to do nothing else but think about him and him alone. The ceiling above me offers no distraction as my mind fills with images of Damon—his eyes, his smile, the way his muscles flex beneath his shirt. My body seems to hum with awareness, as if every cell recognizes that he's just a few meters away in another room within this building. The sensations flooding through my body presently are so strong and uncontrollable, probably due to the fact that my body is completely aware of his proximity. It's like there's an invisible thread connecting us across the hallway, pulling tighter with each passing moment. My skin feels hypersensitive, every brush of the sheets against my body sendin

  • My Hatred, My Soulmate    Chapter 172: Forbidden Attraction

SERENA'S POV After a long night of pretending that I don't know anything about what Damon is talking about, I'm mentally exhausted. The charade of shock and confusion has drained me more than I expected. Just as I'm about to suggest we all get some rest, Luna and Cassidy rise from their seats simultaneously, exchanging a meaningful glance before turning to me."We should head home," Luna announces, adjusting the strap of her bag over her shoulder.I look at them with undisguised shock, my eyebrows shooting up toward my hairline. "You want to return back to your homes? In the middle of the night?" The incredulity in my voice echoes through the living room. The clock on the wall reads 2:17 AM—the witching hour, as some would call it."We have to," Cassidy says, her eyes not quite meeting mine. She fidgets with the hem of her shirt, a nervous habit I've come to recognize. "It's not ideal, but it's necessary."I try my possible best to convince them otherwise, my voice taking on a desper

  • My Hatred, My Soulmate    Chapter 171: The Rogue Salvation

The fluorescent lights of Lucas's temporary office at the hospital cast harsh shadows across his face as he stares at his phone, the threatening message from "D" still illuminated on the screen. Serena stands beside him, her presence a steady anchor in the storm that has become his life. Three days have passed since the ventilator sabotage, and Flora remains under round-the-clock surveillance, with security personnel Lucas personally vetted replacing the ineffective Trent."We need to move her," Lucas says, his voice hoarse from lack of sleep. "This hospital isn't safe anymore. Whoever 'D' is, they have too much access here."Serena nods, dark circles beneath her eyes testament to her own exhaustion. "But where? She's still critical, Lucas. Moving her carries its own risks."Before he can respond, a soft knock interrupts them. Dr. Patel enters, his usual composed demeanor replaced by obvious discomfort. Behind him follows a woman Lucas doesn't recognize—mid-forties, with steel-gray ha

  • My Hatred, My Soulmate    Chapter 170: Ancestral Secrets

SERENA'S POV The night sky stretches endlessly above us, stars twinkling like distant beacons of hope in the darkness that has long since descended upon our property. The gentle crackling of the makeshift bonfire provides the only real illumination in our garden now, casting long, dancing shadows across the faces of my family as we gather in a circle. The destruction of our home looms behind us, a stark reminder of the chaos that erupted just hours ago.Dad has already contacted the construction authorities, his practical mind immediately shifting to solutions rather than dwelling on the problems. It's always been his way—fixing things, making them right again. The workers move like shadows across what remains of our home, their silhouettes occasionally visible against the night sky as they assess the damage. We've created a temporary tent in the garden of our expansive compound, a hastily assembled shelter that somehow feels more intimate than our spacious home ever did. Perhaps it'

  • My Hatred, My Soulmate    Chapter 169: Aftermath of Chaos

DAMON'S POV The living room sprawls before me in utter devastation, a war zone of splintered furniture and shattered memories. I blink several times, as if the scene might reorganize itself into something more familiar, more bearable. Complete surprise courses through my veins, making my heart pound against my ribcage. The reality of what happened here—what almost happened to Serena—sinks into my consciousness with the weight of an anchor.I really don't understand the seriousness in all of this anymore. The pieces don't fit together no matter how I try to arrange them in my mind. Everything is confusing, overwhelming me in ways that leave me mentally grasping at shadows.Mr. Frederick moves methodically through the wreckage, his long sword serving as an impromptu lever as he shifts a massive pile of wood—formerly their living room furniture—that has collapsed against a wall. Behind it, family photographs lie trapped under broken glass, the frozen smiles now webbed with cracks. His f

  • My Hatred, My Soulmate    Chapter 168: Shattered Truths

SERENA'S POV The door looms before me like a barrier between two worlds—the one I thought I knew and the one that's been hiding in plain sight all along. My hand trembles slightly as it hovers near the handle, hesitant to cross this threshold. After what I've just witnessed—that terrifying, unbelievable, vague experience—I'm not sure what awaits on the other side.I turn to look at Dad, who's still gazing at the ground, his brow furrowed in concentration. The lines etched into his face seem deeper than usual, aged by worry and conflict. I can tell he's wrestling with what to do next, caught between protecting Mom and revealing whatever truth has been hidden from me all these years.Glancing back, I see Damon, Cassidy, and Luna standing a few meters behind me, their faces etched with something dangerously close to pity. The look in their eyes sends an uncomfortable chill down my spine."Should we..." I begin, my voice trailing off as words fail me.A heavy sigh escapes Dad's lips as h

  • My Hatred, My Soulmate    Chapter 167: Beneath the Monster's Mask

SERENA'S POV I blink rapidly, struggling against the tears that threaten to burst from my eyes. The intensity of her death grip on my arm is excruciating—each finger digging into my flesh like iron claws. My breath catches in my throat as I stare into the face that should be offering comfort but now radiates nothing but menace."Mom," I whisper, my voice trembling. "It's me. Please let me go. Please, Mom." The words tumble out desperately as I search her features for any sign of recognition. "I know you're in there somewhere. Please, it's me—Serena. You're hurting me."But my pleas fall on deaf ears. She continues to stare at me with that deadly glare—hollow yet somehow intense enough to drain the very soul from a person's body. Her eyes, once warm and loving, now reflect nothing but a cold, impenetrable darkness. The familiar brown irises I've known all my life have hardened into something alien and predatory.Dad steps forward cautiously, his movements slow and deliberate as if app
