63. Don't Tell Jennifer

"What? Who is this?" Jennifer demanded to know. I could tell she was utterly confused.

"My name is Meghan and your dumbass fiancé Chase kidnapped me! You have to help me," I said. I felt like I was wasting my time, but I had to try.

"Is this some kind of a joke? Why would Chase kidnap you?" Jennifer asked.

"If you don't believe me, come to his house and see for yourself. He let me come out of the bedroom, but he wouldn't let me leave the house," I said in a hushed tone.

"Why would Chase kidnap somebody? He doesn't need money. His dad is already rich," Jennifer said.

Gosh, this girl is oblivious. Does she even know I exist?

"Because it's not about the money, Jennifer. He kidnapped me because he wanted me, and I refused to be with him. Your fiancé is a liar and a cheater."
