My day just gets worse as it progresses. The confrontation with that kid was just the beginning. He did end up going to the principal and embellished the facts quite a bit. In his story, I pushed him. And he even said he saw Hope and I together. I'm pretty confident that he was lying about that. But I can't be certain.
After telling my side of the story during lunch break, the principal asked a couple of students from my class to tell him what happened. Thankfully they told the truth. But I was still going to be under scrutiny for the things I said to him.

Hope I woke up in a room I didn't recognize. It was dark. But I could tell it was someone's living space. I am laying on a couch. My wrist is handcuffed to it. HopeI am trying not to freak out as Noah searches for me. I am sending all the love I have through the bond. He said strong emotions will make my location easier for him to detect. EpilogueFour Years Later Hope stood on the back deck of their home overlooking the river. She was 6 months away from her degree in Child Psychology. So many wonderful moments were spent in this very spot. She leaned along the railing and thought about the wedding they had right here. It was a year after she graduated high school.
