Chapter 4: Ansgar's Plan

Malachy Hotel was indeed a luxury hotel in Manchester. This seven-star hotel did look extraordinarily classy and extraordinarily beautiful from the outside.

Everyone in the city of Manchester really knew about the reputation that it had.

The hotel was also the most expensive hotel in the city because of the high-class facilities and services they offered. Everything was luxurious and sure to satisfy the customer.

Weylin Malachy had just arrived at the fifty-floor hotel and got out of the lift.

He was then greeted by his personal secretary, Kristen Moore, who she had worked with for nearly two years. Weylin trusted the woman because in the hotel still only Kristen had no interest in him.

That's because Kristen was married. The woman was also fiercely loyal to her husband and had two children.

She didn't seem to have any desire to attract his attention from the start and that was very good for Weylin because Weylin didn't have to worry about her, he could even relax when she was with him.

"Sir, would you like to have some breakfast before the meeting?" Kristen asked.

Kristen always prepared his breakfast because she knew that Weylin almost never ate at his house.

She also knew how terrible the young CEO's relationship with his father was.

"Fine. Just give me a sandwich. I don't want to eat too much."

"Okay, Sir. Do you want me to do anything else?" Kristen asked again.

Weylin thought for a moment and then shook his head.

Kristen then went to the pantry to prepare his food dan Weylin then walked towards his room.

"Darren, what time should I meet the girl?"

Weylin didn't really want to meet the girl but since he already had plans to ruin the match, he was prepared to meet her.

"Five o'clock, Young Master."

"Where is it?"

“Your home,” Darren replied casually.

Weylin widened his eyes perfectly.

“Aren't you saying something wrong? That's not possible. My father never invited his friends over to our house."

Weylin was right. Ansgar Malachy was not a person who liked to be friendly with people.

fI he wanted to meet someone, he would definitely invite his guest to meet him at his office or at a restaurant. Certainly not in his house.

For Ansgar, his house was only allowed to be stepped on by members of his family.

So, it was certain that none of his business partners have ever entered the mansion owned by the Malachy family.

Darren sighed and then he explained something that made Weylin want to run away from his meeting with whoever the girl he was going to betrothed to.

"Mr. Malachy says he's his best friend. I think they've been friends since high school. So he's very close to your future father-in-law."

Weylin turned to Darren quickly. He hated the words 'Father-in-law'.

He never imagined marrying his daughter so how could he possibly address him as a future father-in-law?

Darren then covered his mouth. Weylin then thought that it seemed difficult to spoil the event.

It's not as simple as he thought. It was obvious that his father respected his guests so much that if he got into trouble there, his father would surely be mad at him.

“Change of plans,” he muttered under his breath.

Weylin convinced himself to be a good son for just one day.

Even though it was difficult, he would do it to find another way to undo the crazy arrangement.

In Lazardo, Kelsey was feeling lazy when she got home. She looked at the black watch on her right wrist. She wanted to scream because she felt her life was unfair.

She had just realized that her life was so miserable. She hadn't had a boyfriend since two years ago.

She was just having fun with herself and didn't want to had a relationship with another man.

Suddenly her parents said that she should marry one of their friend's son. It gave her quite a shock.

How can she face that? She knew that she was 27 years old but she wanted to enjoy life without the distractions from men.

Why did her parents force her to marry?

Kelsey arrived home and was quite surprised to see that her parents were all dressed up.

"Kels, why are you still standing like that? Hurry up. We're going to be late."

Leana warned her because she was nervous about going to her husband's friend's house.

"Yes, Mom. But why are you so beautiful? Are you wearing new clothes?"

Kelsey looked at her mother who did look very elegant in her dress.

Leana smiled. "Of course. Because you're getting engaged today."

Kelsey widened her eyes.

"What? What do you mean? Mom, you're just kidding, right?"

Leana hugged her daughter.

"I'm not kidding. Did your father not tell you about it? You're getting engaged to him tonight. That's romantic, right? You first met her and got engaged to her right away.” Leana smiled then walked into the room to get her bag.

Kelsey just wanted to die. She never expected his father would do that to him.

Getting engaged on the first day she met her future fiancé? Wasn't that a crazy thing?

Kelsey was beyond pissed off.

On the other hand, Weylin stared at his father.

"Dad, I can't. I'm not going to do it." Weylin was furious after his father gave him two rings.

"You can."

Ansgar Malachy then left his son. Weylin wanted to throw the ring away but Darren was there so he prevented his master from doing so.

"My father is crazy right? He got me engaged to that girl at our first meeting. What a madman.”

Weylin couldn't hold back his anger. Darren knew that it wasn't easy for Weylin. He had never had a relationship with any woman.

“Your brothers are here.”

Weylin turned his head. “What do you mean?” Weylin asked.

"They already know about your engagement. They are here."

"All my brothers?" Weylin asked in disbelief.

"Yes. They are seeing your mother. They are in Madame Zuria's room."

Weylin immediately stood up.

"Is Arlen here too?" Weylin asked again Arlen Malachy was very close to him.

Darren nodded.

Weylin then walked towards his mother's room and found his siblings hugging his mother. They turned to Weylin when they knew Weylin was coming.

"Ah, here he is our star tonight," Arlen said casually.

Arlen walked over and hugged his eldest brother.

Neal and Keiran also walked over to him. Weylin smiled at his siblings.

He rarely saw them so this meeting was a what a precious time when they could be together.

"How do you feel now?" Keiran asked.

"What do you mean?" Weylin was confused.

Neal shook his head.

"How do you feel when you are about to get married? Oh please, Weylin. Don't pretend you don't know anything. I'm very disappointed with you. You never told us about that girl and now you've decided to marry her. Come on, sis. You're so mean." Neal was annoyed.

Weylin sighed. "I've never met her. That's dad's plan."

Keiran was surprised then said, "Wait! You mean you never intended to marry her? Is that matchmaking? Is that true?"

Weylin nodded.

Arlen covered his mouth with his hand.

"Oh my goodness. Poor you, Bro!" Arlen said with a regretful expression.

"Don't say that. I'm sure you will like it. I've seen the photo. And she's so pretty." Zuria tried to calm her son down.

Keiran just shook his head and said, "Welcome to real life, Brother!"
