Chapter 3: Kelsey Lieven

Kelsey, who was a bit absent-minded after accidentally meeting the hot sexy dancer, could not find her friends after looking for them for almost an hour.

She had never previously thought that she would be left alone by them.

However, when she remembered that her friends together were men and she quickly realized that her best friends actually left her for the men.

With a feeling of annoyance she then went home in a taxi. She got home at one in the morning and it was the first time she had come this late. Her parents were waiting for her in their living room.

"Why didn't you answer Dad's phone?" Andrew Lieven looked at his only daughter.

"My battery is running low."

"Are you now brave enough to lie to me?"

Kelsey immediately hugged her father and kissed him on the cheek.

"Dad, please. I don't want to make you mad at me. But I just wanted to have fun with my friends before I met him."

Andrew was surprised. As far as he could remember, his daughter had disapproved of his decision to arrange a marriage between her and his friend's son.

But why did she seem like she had changed now?

"You agreed, honey?"

“Do I have a choice, Dad? Without this consent of your son, you must still force me to marry that person, right? So why should I fight? There is no chance for me, it's useless."

Kelsey was actually very sad but he pretended to be tough.

Andrew couldn't answer because he didn't know how to answer.

Leana Lieven just brought hot chocolate to her only daughter.

"Drink it! I think you need it. But why can't I smell the alcohol off you, darling? Aren't you drinking it?"

Kelsey shook her head.

"Mom, I don't like drinking it. I hate being an idiot when I'm drunk."

Kelsey had just remembered an incident a few years ago that had seared into her memory.

Back then when she was drunk, she spoke all that was in his head. The girl made herself break up with her boyfriend at the time.

That's because Kelsey talked about her boyfriend never paying the bills while they were out.

But that's not a lie. That's right. The man was really embarrassed that Kelsey did that in front of his friends.

He instantly broke their relation and asked her to stay away from him.

That was the last time Kelsey got drunk and she wasn't going to touch the alcohol for good.

"That's great honey. But why did you take the taxi home? You went out with Emily and Samantha. Where are they now?" she asked.

"They have other things to do."

Kelsey took the hot chocolate and took it to her room.

She immediately closed the door and drank it. She wanted to sleep for a bit but she couldn't close her eyes.

Slowly she pushed aside the covers. She just remembered about that mysterious man again.

"Who is he? Why is he hiding his face?" Kelsey then took her laptop and started doing an internet search.

She then typed in the keyword "M" from Sweet Heaven.

Kelsey almost applauded when so many results came up in that search. She opened those links one by one. She got lots of photos and also news about it.

But unfortunately, she could not find the photo she wanted.

All photos were almost the same. He wore mask every time he performed but a different mask.

Then Kelsey tried to watch a video of his performance and still got nothing. She couldn't figure out his real face.

"Why are you so mysterious?" Kelsey muttered.

In the nest day, Kelsey pretended to be angry with her best friends because they forgot about her just for the sake of the guy at the club and left her alone.

She didn't actually take it seriously but seeing her best friends look apologetic about their mistake, it really cheered her up.

"We're sorry, honey!" Emily hugged her.

"Yes. Please forgive us! We won't do it again. Forgive me. He's too hot so I couldn't stop myself from going out with him."

Kelsey suddenly wanted to cover her ears for fear that her friend would start telling her about his experience of making love to that guy last night.

Samantha hugged her too.

Kelsey then smiled.

"Okay. I will forgive you guys. But if you do it again, I swear I never want to talk to you again."

Kelsey then hugged her two best friends again.

"You are the best, Kels."

Emily kissed her cheek and Kelsey let go of Emily's hand immediately.

"Oh, that's so funny. Emily. Don't do that again," Kelsey said.

They laughed together.

Kelsey Lieven was an accountant at Lazardo's company. She had worked there since she was twenty-three years old.

So she's been there four years. She was one of the exemplary and accomplished employees so it's only natural that she often got tougher jobs.

But this time, her mind was split as she thought of something.

She hesitated and finally asked, "Can I ask you something?" she asked.

"What?" Emily sat in her chair.

"Tell me more about 'M'!" Kelsey replied.

Samantha who was eating biscuits now choked. Kelsey handed her a bottle of mineral water.

Samantha drank it quickly then looked at her friend and said, "M? You mean the dancer at Sweet Heaven?"

Kelsey nodded enthusiastically. Samantha almost choked again.

"Why? Is that weird? I just want to know why a man becomes a dancer and why does he hide his identity?"

Emily swiveled her chair and brought her closer to Kelsey.

"This is definitely weird. Why are you asking about him?"

Kelsey sighed. "I told you. I'm just curious."

"Better not worry about that boy. It was because no one could find out his true identity. She's untouchable," Samantha explained.

Untouchable? Kelsey repeated to herself.

"Tell me! Are you interested in that guy? No way right? You just saw him last night," Emily said.

Kelsey would love to kick her best friends to Mars if she could. Why would they think that far?

"I'm not attracted to that cold-hearted guy. He's too arrogant."

"Arrogant? How did you know?" Samantha narrowed her eyes.

Kelsey sighed again.

"Well, I met him in the restroom last night. And you know, he's very arrogant. So, I just want to know who he is. How could he be so arrogant like that?"

Emily then thought of an idea that surprised Kelsey.

"Let's go to the Sweet Heaven Club tomorrow? She's going to dance on Friday night."

Emily said excitedly.

Kelsey paused.

Would it be good to go to that place again? Kelsey thought.

"Don't think too much. If you want to know more about him, you should go to that club and find out. You don't find anything if you just sit here,” Samantha said.

Kelsey thought for a moment and then she nodded in agreement. She's going to the club.

"That's my girl," Emily said.
