The Price We Pay

Violet

Dominic slams the door open and lifts me, carrying me inside.

My legs wrap around him on instinct. Something primal and deep inside me is guiding me. It’s like I don’t have to think what to do next, I am not unsure. His strength and passion swallow me whole and all I want to do is let him take me.

The door slams shut behind us, and he puts me back on the ground.

Then his hands are on my shoulders, running lower to my waist. Dominic’s kiss is ravenous, and it feels like he can’t get enough.

It also feels like he is fighting himself not to rip my dress to pieces. Desire is pulsing all through my body and I shiver when his hands close around me.

Dominic slows down the kiss. From a starving, bruising one it gradually becomes more gentle. More careful.
