Chapter 29

There were sounds and familiar voices, but her head was too heavy, and her body hurt, to realize who was there.

She opened her eyes, slowly, and someone was sitting next to her, but her vision was still blurred, so she could see who it was.

But soon, her eyes adopted, and there he was.

His eyes were closed, with black circles surrounding them, he looked too tired.

She caressed his beautiful face, remembering what happened, while tears were falling from her eyes, onto his face, but she didn’t feel that.

His shiny eyes opened faster than she expected, looking through her soul.

She knew that something terrible had happened, something with a child, she saw that in his eyes, but was unable to read his mind.

He was blocking her, but she could feel his emotions, just like he could feel her, and they both were suffering.

She has lost their baby.

He was moving her hair from her face, slowly caressing it, but the cognition of reality was killing her inside.

She didn’t want to cry beca
