I was surprised and also saw the surprised look on the faces of the guards. All the same, I took a step and answered him, "Okay, Mr. Zenith."
I got into his car, greeted him respectfully and a broad smile flickered across his face.
He drove into the complex and responded, "Good morning, Handsome. What can you do?"
"Any work, Mr. Zenith," I answered him with desperation in my voice.
He held my left hand with his right hand, squeezed it, and asked me, "Really?"
I was uncomfortable with that but I remembered Hendrick. I wriggled my hand out of his immediately and answered him, "Yes, Mr. Zenith."
He respected my wish and did not bother to hold my hand again.
"I see. The only available job is assistant. Can you work as my assistant?"
"Yes, Mr. Zenith if I know what it entails," I answered him.
At that point, he was in his car park. He parked and faced me. His magnetic sexual allure was exactly what I saw in Hendrick's eyes. I looked away and he responded, "I will be glad to teach you. Come with me."
He unfastened his seatbelt, and I did the same thing and appreciated him, "Thank you, Mr. Zenith."
We got out of his car and he led me to a building. As we walked on, I noticed his lecherous gaze. I did not know why he was doing that, but I was ashamed of my poor dress.
Shortly after, we were in his office. His secretary and clerk were as surprised as the guards at the gate. I suspected that they were seeing him happy for the first time.
"Good morning, Mr. Zenith," they greeted him simultaneously.
He answered them hastily and took me to his lavishly furnished office. I was amazed and stopped in my tracks. He stopped, too, and looked at me with a broad smile.
"Wow! This is amazing," I exclaimed.
"Do you like it?" He asked me.
"Yes, I do," I answered him happily.
"Congratulations on passing the first test," he said with a happy demeanor.
"What was the first test, Mr. Zenith if I may ask?"
"Liking what I like makes the two of us."
"Wow!" I exclaimed without considering what he meant by that.
"You have gotten a job for yourself," he said.
I was excited like a child seeing Santa Claus for the first time and appreciated him while still admiring the office, "Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Zenith."
Suddenly, his door opened, and his clerk walked in; without looking away from me, he dismissed her, "Never mind, Clerk. My assistant will serve the tea."
"I got it, Mr. Zenith," she said and shut the door.
He pecked me on the temple and my body had feelings of euphoria. Instantly, my desire to unite with Hendrick increased.
"You're a lucky guy," he said and ushered me to a couch, "Kindly sit down."
I found my bearings and appreciated him before walking to the couch. He walked to his seat and sat down as well. I was admiring the office but could feel his eyes all over me just like Hendrick did whenever we were together.
"What's your name, Sweetheart?" He asked me happily.
"I'm Julius, Mr. Zenith."
"What a lovely name."
"Thank you for the compliment."
"You're welcome, Julie," he answered me and shortened my name to sound feminine.
While I was pondering on the name, he cut me short and requested, "Julie, can you serve us tea or coffee?"
I looked at the pantry, got up, and responded, "Yes, I can, Mr. Zenith."
"That is good," he said and I walked up to the pantry.
Everything looked strange. The tea cups were exquisite. I saw some chalice associated with the Pharaoh. At that point, I was scared of touching any of them and needed assistance. As though he read my mind, he arrived and stood close to me.
He placed his left hand on my shoulder and asked me, "Do you need my assistance?"
"Yes, Mr. Zenith," I answered him.
Now, he had dominated me with his height and broad chest. He held me tighter and kissed my cheek. I was uncomfortable and he noticed it.
"You are too handsome to be looking for a job. I love you, Julie," he whispered and kissed me again.
I was mute, and he pleaded with me, "Kindly say that you love me, and my life will be meaningful."
His words were sweet yet lethal. To his credit, he was a gentleman because he did not wish to force anything. He would have avoided that if he had his way, but he was obsessed with whatever he wanted.
Now, I could feel his hard dick and he tried to caress my nipples.
"I want to leave," I informed him and he left me immediately.
"I apologize, Julie if I was incautious. I didn't mean to," he said and inched away.
Without a word, I walked out of the pantry and back to the couch to pick up my folder. He followed me and pleaded, "Don't judge me by this, my love. I'm not always like this."
"I won't," I said and picked up my folder.
"Thank you for your understanding," he said and looked at his erect manhood.
"Promise me that you will come again."
I was mute and he explained, "I would have taken you home but for this," looking at his penis.
"I got it," I said, put myself together, and walked away.
His secretary and clerk were happy to see me.
"We hope to see you again," his secretary said with a beautiful smile.
"Thank you, Ma'am," I said and walked away, wondering what they thought about me.
Mr. Zenith was in his early thirties and they could not assume that I was his son. Nevertheless, I got to the gate and the security guards were not surprised that I was leaving quickly.
"He must have shouted at him. Slave driver," one of the guards whispered to the other but I heard him.
"Slave driver," the other concurred.
The CSO was compassionate. He looked at me and said, "The king of Westminster needs a janitor. You can go there and try your luck."
I was happy with the information but my happiness was truncated when another guard said, "The job is for only ladies."
"Oh!" The CSO exclaimed, but I had heard enough.
"Thank you for informing me," I appreciated them and walked away.
The Tenth Day - Reuben’s POV I have never seen such a show off before. Johnson had installed baby car seats in his car. He obtained permission from the authorities because he would cause gridlock on the roads as he transported the babies home. Also, he paid for a two-hour live broadcast on the television station. He mobilized the Swansea police while our security team was ready. Sarah, the presenter of The Family Tapestry TV Show was there. After the doctor assessed the babies, he discharged us."Let's go," Reuben said after we carried the babies. The camera men began to Pam their cameras as we walked to the car. The hospital staff waved us off, some with tears in their eyes whether from exhaustion or emotion, I couldn’t tell. Johnson’s ridiculous convoy stretched down the street, a parade of flashing lights and camera crews. I strapped the last baby into its seat, my fingers fumbling with the buckles. Sarah from The Family Tapestry leaned in, microphone in hand. "Reuben, how d
Johnson’s POV It was not easy shuttling between the house and the hospital, so, we moved into the hospital. Reuben had two children but I had three. I was ensuring that I didn't compromise his position as the firstborn. I studied his countenance and was pleased that it did not shrink. Our mothers arrived and volunteered to take over from us."You need to go home and rest, Son. We can continue," Reuben's mother said to me."No, Mom. We can do it together," I politely refused. My mom laughed at her and worked things out for her, "Don't bother yourself. I don't think they would agree to leave the babies."Huh! I have not seen such attachment," she pointed out.We laughed at her assertion and Reuben pacified her, "We will be fine, Mom."She smiled at him and gave him a searching look. She loved him so much and I could see the joy in her eyes."It's okay."We took more rooms to accommodate everyone. We ensured that we were part of the children's early lives. They see us before they sle
Being surprised was an understatement. Reuben and I sat frozen for a split second, our brains struggling to process what we were seeing. Two tiny bundles, swaddled in soft blankets, nestled in Mrs. Austin’s arms. My mouth fell open. "Two?" was all I managed to choke out. Reuben, ever the quick one to recover, let out a disbelieving laugh. "You ... you’re joking, Doctor." Mrs. Austin's eyes sparkled with amusement. "No joke, Bosses. You’ve got a pair of beautiful, healthy babies waiting to meet their fathers." I shot a look at the doctor, who merely shrugged, still grinning. "I wanted it to be a surprise. You’d mentioned only wanting to know the genders, not the number." Reuben made a strangled noise, somewhere between a laugh and a gasp. "Huh!" He cut himself off, shaking his head in awe. I stood up on shaky legs, my heart pounding so hard I was sure Reuben could hear it. Mrs. Austin stepped closer, carefully adjusting the babies in her arms. "This little one," she sa
Reuben’s POV I didn't want us to meet the surrogate chiefly because I was afraid that she might develop an interest in Johnson. I learned that intending parents are often involved in the immediate postpartum period, sharing the joy and excitement of meeting their baby. Yes, but I might be unable to withstand Johnson’s handshakes with the woman or possibly a hug in appreciation or emotional support."No way," I said while returning from my board meeting.I was not surprised to see my office locked. He had left for his office. When I settled down, I called the workers at the Westminster site to confirm the report from there. I was happy to know that the manager did not exaggerate the report. I had an untold joy in me - the arrival of the baby was not far from the reasons.Five Days Later Despite not wanting to meet the surrogate or know her, Johnson was so excited and wished to announce the arrival of the baby to the world, just to fulfill his desire. "Wait for us to leave the hospi
Johnson’s POV I held him tightly, right in the middle of his office, kissing him with all the passion he ignited in me. Reuben was desperate, his hands clutching at my shirt as if he feared I’d disappear. The way he loved me these days - fierce, unyielding - was both a wonder and a privilege. "My firstborn," I murmured, cradling his face. "Is there something you’re not telling me? You love me more than I ever imagined possible." He kissed me again, slow and sweet. "You keep proving I made the right choice. Thank you for choosing me." My chest tightened at his words. I pulled him closer, whispering against his lips, "You’re the best decision I've ever made. Thank you for accepting me." He rested his head on my shoulder, his breathing steadying as we stood there, wrapped in each other. After a long moment, I finally asked, "What did you want to show me?" Reuben lifted his head, his eyes gleaming with mischief and something deeper-something that made my pulse quicken. "This,
I pulled him close, resting my forehead against his. "Because you were there with me. I couldn’t have done it alone." He chuckled softly. "Well, next time, let’s just tell them from the start. My nerves can’t take another night like this." I kissed him lightly. "Deal." With that, we settled into the comfort of honesty and transparency and the peace that came with it. Suddenly, Julius' phone buzzed with a message. We turned to look at the phone which was on the candlestand. He picked it up at once and said, "It's from Big Brother."I was thrilled and adjusted. He tapped the message and began to read.Julius' POV Henry had been campaigning on our behalf concerning the project. He had been able to mobilize many people."Hello, Little brother. I hope you and Hendrick are doing well. I have received support from the following people and transferred it to you. Kindly contact and appreciate them through their attached contacts."I felt exhilarated and screamed, "Yes!" raising my two
