Kira's POV.

I felt a strong wave of pain pass through my head as I tried to blink open my eyes. Wherever I found myself was filled with darkness, and dust.

I darted my eyes, trying to see where I was, but I had no clue. It seemed they did a good job bringing me here.

Dangling my hands with a serious expression on my face, I attempted to set myself free. However, I was chained to the iron pole, and was seated on the floor, so the more I struggled, the more pain it caused, making me wince.

I clenched my teeth to mask the pain, sweat already dripping down my face.

“Mary?” I called, looking around. Despite the place being dark, being a werewolf gave me the ability to see through the dark.

My brows were raised the moment I realized I was alone here. My heart kept thudding at the thought of what they did to Mary.

I knew Alpha Lucian would never forgive me if I ever allowed anything to happen to her.

“I shouldn't have let her come with me!” Self blame was all I could do now as tears formed
