OLIVIA’S POV

Evelyn took center stage, her presence commanding the room like a well-rehearsed actress delivering the performance of a lifetime. She looked around, her eyes glistening with unshed tears—tears I knew were nothing more than a carefully crafted illusion.

Her lips quivered just enough to sell the act before she turned to Dominic, her voice trembling as if she were recounting the most painful betrayal of her life.

"Five years ago," she began, pausing for effect, "I found out Olivia had the same mark as me… and she went crazy with jealousy. We argued that day, she even called me names, and that’s when she pushed me into that group of thugs. And then, she faked the mark to steal my place!"

Gasps echoed through the hall. The tension thickened, suffocating me as I tried to process what I had just heard.

I felt the blood drain from my face.

That was a lie.

A bold, blatant lie.

"I never—" My voice came out raw, desperate.

But Evelyn wasn’t finished.

Her expression shifted, eyes da

  • My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby    Chapter 145 THE RISING PHOENIX

EVELYN’S POVThe shadows used to welcome me like an old friend. Now they mock me.I watched them again—Olivia, Dominic, the children—moving about like they were the perfect little family. Every smile they exchanged, every casual brush of fingers, every protective glance Dominic cast her way was a dagger twisted deeper into my side. How did I let this happen? Which part did I miss? Where did my planning go wrong? She was winning. No—she had already won.And it burned.I shifted behind the trees at the edge of the pack guest house grounds, keeping a low profile. I’d been doing this for days—watching, waiting. Plotting.I have planned everything so perfectly and yet I failed. But the more I watched, the more my irritation curdled into rage.Olivia was never supposed to rise again.I had made sure of it.I orchestrated her downfall with precision and venom. Every whisper, every planted lie, every staged betrayal—I threaded them together like a master puppeteer. I humiliated not only her b

  • My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby    Chapter 144 LITTLE DRAMA QUEEN

OLIVIA’S POVAfter we cleaned up and dried off, we dressed and moved quietly so as not to wake the twins. Dominic helped mepack their bags and get their uniforms ready, something I never imagined I’d see him do. It was barely eight in the morning, and our house was already buzzing with the usual Monday madness—Noah complaining about mismatched socks, me trying to braid Aria’s wild curls while she squirmed, and Dominic attempting to coordinate breakfast while keeping an eye on the twins like a hawk.I was in the kitchen packing their tiffins when I heard a dramatic sigh followed by the thud of tiny feet stomping into the living room.“Daddy,” Aria said, dragging the word out as if it weighed a hundred pounds.Dominic looked up from his coffee, one brow raised. “Yes, princess?”She crossed her arms over her chest and stuck out her bottom lip in a perfectly exaggerated pout. “Do we have to go to school today?”I froze mid-sandwich. Here we go.“Yes,” Dominic said firmly, not even missin

  • My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby    Chapter 143 THE NIGHTMARE

OLIVIA’S POVDarkness. It pressed down on me like a weight I couldn’t lift. My wrists ached, bound in heavy metal cuffs as I dangled from chains fixed to the damp stone ceiling. My feet barely touched the cold floor, my body swaying slightly every time I breathed too hard or whimpered in pain. The scent was all too familiar—blood, mold, and rot.I knew this place. No, no, not again…Panic clawed its way up my throat as I opened my eyes wider and the room came into focus. Cracked walls, flickering overhead light, rusted drain in the center of the floor—exactly like the last time.Exactly like the house I was taken to when I was pregnant with the twins. My heart thundered as realization dawned.I was back. But this time… my stomach was flat. There was no gentle swell of life inside me. I wasn’t pregnant. And that made it worse somehow—because it meant they had taken me again. They had done it once, and I had survived. But now, I wasn’t sure I could.Footsteps echoed down the hallway. No

  • My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby    Chapter 142 CLAIMED BY LOVE

OLIVIA’S POV“I want you,” It doesn’t matter how many time he say those words, I will never get used to them. This time I can't hold in the whimper because I can't take it. The look in his eyes.. Nobody has ever looked at me with so much desire, not even Derek.Taking a deep breath to control myself, I whimper, "we can't. The kids, mom and James-"It's like he doesn't give a shit about what I'm saying because he presses his body against mine and crashes his lips on mine again. Again, my body betrays me, and I press myself against him. The feeling of his hands on my skin sets my body on fire. His hands roam all over me, from my neck down to my ribs, from my waist to my ass. He squeezes it hard and groans. The sounds he makes sends heat down between my thighs and I can't help but clench again.“Olivia”.... he whispers again. Again, his hot breath fans along my neck giving me goosebumps, he gently nudges the crook of my neck with his nose.“Are you wet for me?" he asks in a low, husky vo

  • My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby    Chapter 141 AFTER PARTY

DOMINIC’S POVI should’ve waited. Should’ve stayed in my office or paced the damn packhouse until the heat cooled off in my blood—but I couldn’t.The ache was too deep. The craving too raw. My body, my wolf craved her.My wolf had been clawing inside me the entire evening, the last thread of patience snapped the moment Olivia walked away with Derek again. Even though I understood… even though she had been clear about wanting to keep things respectful between them until tonight ended, my instincts didn’t give a damn. She was mine. Not in the possessive, arrogant way I used to believe. Not in the way that had cost me everything the first time. But in the sense that she was the air I couldn’t breathe without. And damn that seductive invitation from her, I would be a fool to ignore it.I know what she wanted, and I wanted it more than her. I craved it, in fact.Tonight, once again, will be ours.So I drove faster than I should have. By the time I reached her street, the moon had already r

  • My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby    Chapter 140 HUSHED CONFESSIONS

OLIVER’S POVThe hallway was hushed, painted in soft gold from the antique sconces that lined the walls, the shadows deepening with every second I spent alone with him. The stillness was almost deafening after the chaotic noise of the auction and the banter between Dominic and Derek. I should have been angry. I should have been storming away. But I wasn’t.Instead, I stood there… letting the silence settle between us like dust on old memories. Dominic was quiet too, his eyes fixed on me as if trying to read the thoughts I was keeping buried.“You said you needed to talk,” I said softly, hugging myself.Dominic let out a breath and looked away for a moment, gathering his words. “I know I messed things up earlier with Derek, and I think I am always going to mess when it comes to you. And the auction… that wasn’t just about competing. It was about everything I’ve kept buried. Watching you walk in with someone else, even after everything that’s happened between us… it did something to me.
