I closed the door behind Amanda and turned to her. She walked to the middle of the room and then turned to me. It was kind of weird that she had the same eyes as Tyrone.

Sure, many children had the same eye color as their parents. But it was also the same shape and this dark green was something of a rarity. At least I had never met anyone with that particular color.

She had a smile on her face and asked, "How are you?" This was a very logical question that started most conversations. It was good that she took it into her own hands because I couldn't think of anything, it was all too new for that.

"Good thanks and you?" I managed to put on a slight smile, which I was very proud of.

"Also. How did you sleep?" She looked around the room, so I automatically did the same. There wasn't anything wrong with it. Except of course the color, which in my opinion was represented too often.
