I sat on the floor and looked at the wall opposite. This encounter with Amun had been disturbing. I had to sort my thoughts again.

However, this was quickly interrupted because there was a knock on the door and then it was opened. You didn't have to be psychic to know that was Gwen.

She came in with a big smile and said, "Good morning, Davina." Given my current state of mind, her mood was unnerving, but I still tried to put on a friendly expression. "Good morning, Gwen."

When her eyes landed on me, she looked confused and I stood up. "What are you doing on the floor?" I shrugged and explained, "I like sitting on the floor." I did, but the actual reason was different. Gwen nodded and seemed to accept this because she pointed behind her. "Breakfast is waiting for you."

With a sigh, I started moving. At least I could leave the room. A big plus point was that Amun couldn't run into me under any circumstances. After all, he said he had a lot to do. There was no risk at the front.
