Chapter Seven.

"It's really great to walk out here. The sun feels so refreshing on my skin!" My sister says from behind me as we walked together.

"I'm sure it does." I muttered, rolling my eyes. Davina was so dramatic. She had insisted that we take a car to mother's restaurant, but I wanted to walk.

She had looked at me like I had suggested the worst thing in the world when I told her that. She would have used a car if mother had not told her to walk.

"It's good darling, walk there instead. All the sun and fresh air would be good for your skin and hair." Our mother had said. And then Davina immediately agreed.

And so here I was, walking down our street with my sister behind me moving like a model. The neighbors looked my way. Or so I thought. Until I heard them saying hi to the woman behind me.

Davina, of course didn't say hi back. She only waved haughty and turned to smirk at me.

Or maybe she did not smirk, the point was that she just waved and increased her pace to meet up with mine
