LUNA ALEX
Spending time with Liz and the kids turned out not to be so bad. I was beginning to see some improvement in Liz, but I still remained cautious. This was not the first time that she had made it seem like she was changing, before resorting back to her old ways. We got to see the bears, tigers and the many different types of birds. Afterwards, we took the kids to the restaurant to get some dinner."Okay birthday girl, what will it be?" I asked looking down at her."This." She smiled before pointing at the picture of the hamburger and fries."Okay." I wrote down her order along with Tom, Jerry and Liz's. I handed the order to Melissa."By the way, a man came by looking for you." She told me after handing her father the order."Who was he?" I grabbed cups and filled them up with lemonade. She shrugged. "Don't know he just says he wanted to talk to you."I groaned. "Please don't tell me it was that guy that was trying to get me to sell this place.""What? You're selling the restaurant?" Liz asked coming up from behind me."What? No!" I shook my head. "An older gentleman came by and asked me to sell this place to his boss. And I said no of course.""Well, I don't know if we're talking about the same guy. This dude was hot. Literally the hottest guy I've ever seen." She exaggerated."And he came here to see Alex." Melissa nodded. "Wonder why?" Liz smiled evilly at me."Don't get ahead of yourself I don't even know the man." I placed the drinks in front of the kids before walking back over to the counter."Well, he seems to know you." I rolled my eyes and headed to the back to check on our orders.<><>I had just locked the door and was walking to my car when I saw her. It was the first time that I had seen her since my father's funeral. As soon as she steps foot in, I had her escorted out. There was no way in hell that I was gonna let her come and make everything about her. My father hated her and I have no idea why she would come in the first place."What do you want?" I asked angrily."Hi, sweetie." She smiled brightly at me. "I missed you." She started to come closer to me when I put my hand up stopping her. I noticed that her hair had grown a lot since the funeral. She was wearing dark jeans and a yellow V-neck and her hair was pulled into a tight ponytail."If you miss me so much why did you leave?" I asked the women who birth me and broke my dad's heart when she left us.Her smile faded. "That's actually why I came here to talk to you about." She ignored me and came and wrapped her arms around me."About what?" I brushed her off."Why I left."ALPHA RYANEvery time I went to Mel's Diner the owner was M.I.A., so I decide I would give it a few more days before I made another appearance."Come in," I yelled to the person on the other side of my office door. In walked Lily, she was wearing her pajama with her hair in a bun and her reading glasses on. "Hey, long time no see." For the last few days, Lily has not only been ignoring me but also avoiding me by any means possible."Hey." She sat down in the chair that was centered in front of my desk. "So I thought about what you said and you were right. I do need to focus more on my school work. And I sorry for trying to undermine your authority."After our argument, Lily tried to call our parents to try to get them to convince me that what I did was wrong and that I should talk with the principal who was a part of our pack to get her from going to summer school. They ended up phoning me and telling me what she did."I accept your apology." She came over to give me a hug and a kiss on the cheek before going back to her seat. "I know that I need to focus more on school, which I promise I am. I been going to summer school and even staying after for extra help."I knew that she was only saying and doing all this so that I would let her go to the Summer Moon Bash. "I know what you are trying to do." She sighed."Please, Ryan! I've already bought a dress and everything. You can talk to my teachers to see that I really am improving.""I am gonna check. And if what you say is true then you can go.""Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She said jumping up and down. "I promise you won't regret it. And after I will continue to keep my grades up.""Okay, I will call your teacher in the morning." Today was Thursday and the young wolves were set to leave Friday morning. So, tomorrow would be the last day to make my decision." Okay, go to sleep, you have school tomorrow."<><>After talking to Lily teacher I found out she has been telling the truth, her grades has been improving and she had been going to summer school every day. I agreed to let her go but only if she continued to keep her grades up."If your grades drop after this party you can say goodbye to your birthday party.""Fine." She rolled her eyes. Before I allowed her to go I need to make sure that her dress was appropriate. I had already approved of the bikini that she was planning on wearing to the beach party so all was left was the dress for the party.Being that I attended the Summer Moon Bash a lot I was very aware of how the girls there would dress. On top of that, there were lots of alcohol and drugs. Rogues sometimes took their intoxicated state as a chance to pull off some crazy plan. In the earlier years, they had even tried to kidnap the young she-wolfs. That is why I was making sure that I was sending more than enough guards to watch over them. After 10 minutes she finally had come out the bathroom. She was wearing a spaghetti strapped yellow dress that stopped at her thighs, it also had a fairly deep plunged that showed off a great amount of her cleavage."Ryan, please don't overreact. It's not that bad.""It's too short and your cleavage is showing," I said. "Maybe we can find a dress that more appropriately.""We leave tomorrow, Ryan.""It's also little too tight, and your stuff is showing." I covered my eyes. If I couldn't stand to see my sister this way I damn sure didn't want other people too. "I don't know about this dress.""Ryan." She pouted. "Please, this is the dress for me.""Lily you're fifteen, there is no way I'm letting you wear this.""Are you serious?" She dramatically stomped her foot."As a heart attack.""No way!""Welp! Guess you're not going." I walked out her room, and down the stairs. She followed behind me."Fine.""I also want to drop you off at the party." I lied. There was no way that I was making the long trip to Crescent Moon Pack just to drop her off. I was simply just messing with her."Are you serious?" She yelled. "That's gonna be so embarrassing.""You know, back when I was in high school girls would have gone crazy if I said I was gonna walk them into the Summer Moon Bash."Even though the intended purpose of it was to find you mate, not too many people took it as serious as they did before. A lot of younger wolves took it as a time to party and hook up with people."Well, this is a new day." She argued."Well, you have no other choice."LUNA ALEXAfter a few minutes of Heather begging me I finally had agreed to talk to her. I unlocked the restaurant doors and we both sat across from each other at a booth."I loved your father." Hearing her say those words made me want to gag. She didn't love him, she couldn't have. How can you love him when you left him and broke his heart? "One day I met this man and I fell in love with him. I was given a choice-."Blah. Blah. Blah. "And you chose him, over me and dad." I finished for her."I did, but I never expected that you would be ripped away from me. Your father did everything in his power to keep you away from me.""Dad wouldn't do something like that," I said getting angry that she would accuse the man that raise me of doing that. "And even if he did, it was probably for a good reason. You're clearly an unfit mother." I knew those words were gonna hurt her, but I didn't care. After everything she put me and my dad, though, she deserves it.She was shocked by what I had said
I had been in a bad mood ever since my encounter with Heather. I decided to skip the breakfast rush and have Jack and Melissa open up for me. I was still really upset that she tried to accuse my dad of keeping her away from me, even if he did she could have fought for me, she could have taken him to court and got visitation, but she didn't and that speaks for itself.I spent my morning cleaning up the house while listening to classic old R&B records. The house hadn't been properly clean since my father's death, everything that he had left lying around was still where he left them. One thing about my dad is, he was a very messy person, so in a weird way having his mess around comforted me, it made me feel as though he was still living here and that he was just on vacation but the day has come and it was time to clean up.Even though I wanted the house to be cleaned I stayed clear of my dad's room because I wasn't ready to go through his things. I wanted some things to stay just as he l
I had just turned eighteen and after two years of still not finding my mate, I decided that I would embark on a worldwide trip to different packs in search of my mate. During this time my father took over the pack. I went to every pack in the United States and to most of the packs overseas besides one, Greenfield Pack. Greenfield Pack was located in England and had been overseas allies for us for a while. The only person accompanying me was Tyler and my guard James. I arrived at their pack house, where there was a party for unmated wolves going on. Lots of packs had these parties and invited other unmated wolves from the different pack to come to see if their mate was present. A lot of times this helped form treaties with other packs, especially for high ranking wolves. James stayed in his room considering he was already mated while Tyler and I mingled in the party. The lights had been dim and there had been dozens of wolves scattered around the room, some talking, other's dancing,
I ended up staying in the parking lot of Mel's Diner for two and a half hours, watching her through the glass window. She was so fucking beautiful, and all mine. My wolf was overly excited about finally meeting his mate, and so was I. It didn't matter that she was human, and a human Luna was something that's never been heard of. If anyone had anything to say about it I wouldn't hesitate to snap their necks.I left the restaurant when I notice that the restaurant was beginning to become empty, afraid of begin caught spying on her. When I had arrived at the pack house it was dark, and many other the wolves were heading to bed."Meet me in my office, now." I mind linked Willie."Yes, Alpha." He responded, and within five minutes he was standing outside of my office."Come in." He walked in, wearing his red and black plaid pajamas."Is everything okay?" He asked nervously. Usually, when I called people to my office this late they were either in trouble, or something bad had happened."What
ALPHA RYANThere was no doubt that I was definitely openly admiring her plump butt while inhaling her sweet scent as she led us to her office. Her office was a small bland room with only a desk and a couple of pictures hung up on the wall. Her office was another thing that would need to be updated."Have a seat." She sat down at her desk while I sat in the chair in front of her desk. "So tell me about this.... business proposal?" She scrunched up her eyebrows.I smiled at how cute she looked. "How long have this place been open?" I asked."Twenty-two years." She answered proudly.I nodded. "Impressive..."Thanks for your support!I looked up at the pictures behind her desk. There were three photos, one with her and her father. I had seen photos of them in the folder that Willie had given me, apparently he owned the restaurant but had recently passed away. The second photo was with her, her father, the younger version of the female energize waitress and a middle aged man who I assume w
It was the second night that I had slept outside of Alex's house. She had arrived a little after 10 p.m., took a shower and went straight to bed. She spent most of the night tossing and turning before finally falling asleep at 1 a.m."I can't wait to sleep next to her." My wolf voiced. My wolf understood that we had to wait before we told Alex but he was always eager to make comments about what our future would be like with our mate. The next morning I had arrived back at the pack house. I had only managed to sleep for about 4 hours so I was badly in need of some coffee. It was a Saturday so not many people were woke besides Linda who was preparing breakfast."Coffee?" She asked me. I nodded and she places a cup of coffee with crème and sugar in front of me. "So, when can we meet her?" She asked me."What?" I asked confused."Your mate. When will you introduce her to the pack?" She asked nonchalantly as she flips over the bacon she was frying.I smirked. "Linda curse you for being so
"What happen?" I asked Tyler. When Willie relayed the message to me that something bad had happened at the pack house I quickly shifted and ran all the way home leaving my car still parked in the parking lot of The Red Café."James was doing rounds when he got attacked by two rogues," I growled.James was a middle-aged pack wolf that had acted as my bodyguard growing up. He took Lily and me to school every morning until I was able to drive and had even accompanied me on many of my quest to find my mate."Is he okay?" I asked worriedly."He's in surgery now."I took this attack more personal because James was someone that had taken care and protected me when I was defenseless and hadn't yet shifted. Whoever had done this would definitely feel the consequence when I got a hold of them."What happen to the two rogues?""Burn the body and then I want to know who sent him and why? By any means necessary." He nodded and exited the pack house. After calming down I made my way to the pack hos
ALPHA RYAN"How are you?" I asked James. It had been a couple of days and he had fully recovered and was soon to be able to leave the pack hospital after I had a talked with him.He sat up. "Better. A lot better.""Good." I took a seat in the chair closest to the hospital bed. "Someone is planning an attack on the pack.""You think it's the same rogues as last time?" He questioned."Maybe," I said even though I was quite sure that it was. He sat all the way up. "Have you talked to your dad?" "Yes, he and my mom are on their way back now. It's not safe for them to be out there."He nodded in agreement. "You might wanna minimize trips to the city, add 24-hour patrols."James and my father were very close and he had one of the most important jobs, to protect the Alpha's and Beta's family."Already done," I responded proudly. "You've learned from the best." He acknowledged. My father had been a very smart and caution Alpha. In situations like this, he stayed focus and didn't let emoti
