24. Keep a Secret

Arva had just got home; she sat on the couch.

"Don't sit here; you usually go straight to the room." Graneta walked in carrying a tray of cookies and avocado juice.

Arva glanced at her mother lazily. Surely she will watch the movie, judging from the snacks that are on the tray.

"Wanna just sit here." Arva leaned her back against the back of the sofa.

Graneta raised her eyebrows, seeing her daughter, who looked powerless. She also remembered something; she could only ask Arva.

"Arva," Graneta called. She shifted her body face to face her daughter.

"What's wrong, Mom?"

"You've known princess Noura long ago, haven't you?"

Arva glanced at Graneta. She was a bit suspicious, guessing what her mother would ask. "Yes, why?"

"You were also the late princess Lucia's best friend," Graneta muttered under her breath, but Arva heard it.

Arva frowned even more. Getting suspicious. She wonders what her mom wants to say. "Yes. Actually, what do you want to ask?"
