When I opened my eyes, I realized I had been reborn.

Ignoring the pain, I forced myself to stay calm. As one of the pack’s best trackers, I quickly scanned my surroundings.

Soon, I recognized I was at the bottom of Boar Cliff.

I had returned to the day Ariel and I were attacked by wild boars.

Ariel, Ian’s puphood friend, once told me she knew about a miraculous hidden spring. According to her, drinking its water could make my pup smarter.

For Ian’s heir, she said she had to go herself. However, the spring was deep inside the Misty Forest, and she needed a guide.

At that time, I was already two months pregnant and shouldn’t have been guiding anyone. Yet, Ian insisted that I go with her.

After entering Misty Forest with Ariel, I never saw any miracle spring.

From the surrounding bushes, pairs of eerie green eyes appeared.

It was the boars!

When their howls tore through the night, I knew immediately that they had been provoked.

Ariel stood high in the trees, looking down at me with a sneer.

“You’re Luna? You’re really stupid, Rachel. Let me tell you the truth. There’s no hidden spring. I led you here on purpose to feed you to the boars. As long as you and the b*st*rd in your belly disappear, Ian will be mine.”

I struggled to climb out of the pit, only for the boar herd to surround me.

As I fought desperately, Ariel laughed loudly from above, which enraged the boar king hidden in the forest.

With a violent charge, it slammed into the tree so hard that Ariel nearly fell.

She clung tightly to the trunk and screamed for help in terror. However, no one could hear her except for me.

By then, I was already being forced to the edge of the cliff.

In the end, covered in wounds and completely exhausted, I lost all strength and fell straight down.

Fortunately, the soft ground at the bottom saved my life.

In my previous life, after waking up, I was desperate to be rescued and used my satellite phone to contact Ian. At the same time, Ariel, who could no longer hold on, also called him.
