Chaoter 106 - I Can Protect You.

LEONARD KISH'S POV

I was still lost in my thoughts when Jessica began to speak again.

"I actually came to speak with your wife, Leo, I didn't mean any of it, I couldn't possibly hurt your wife, not when I know she has just a few more years with you." Her words tumbled out of her lips, as she forced a smile on her face.

Her words had only added flames to the anger brewing within me, but then, she was my friend, and I knew I had to be careful.

Seeing how crazy she was, I knew I had to be collected, so she wouldn't go out of hand.

"It's getting late, already, I think you should start going," I said to her and immediately, I began to lead the way, but after I had taken two steps away from Elsa, I stopped and without a second thought I walked back to Elsa.

"I'll just see her off, then I'll be back," I told her, staring straight into her eyes, hoping she would at least say something, but Elsa didn't say anything to me, instead, she turned and walked away.
