ANSWERS

The sound of the clocks seemed to have converged at one place in the entire office and that was near Stephany's ears.

Tick tock, tick tock.

It was like they were trying to tell her to hurry and choose.

There was no better choice but the silence that allowed the clock sound was now giving her heart a scare as it drummed in her ears too.
