Nina’s POV

The tone of her voice change, the jolly atmosphere she was caring burst like a bubble. She still had that sweet smile plastered on her lips, but her eyes turn sharp.

A small drop of venom seems to fill the air. I cannot fully express this kind of aura, but it feels like a rat being observe by a hawk, ready to catch anytime.

Make your heart steady, any change of demeanor or subtle change of breathing can give her so much information.

She’s here to ask about my health, not to interrogate me nor does she feel suspicious. I can’t overthink for now; it may cause me an arm and a leg.
