Jane's Point Of View

This is the second time I've seen him cry because of me. What am I going to do with this man that seems to have wrapped his life around me? I wondered. Because I know that with everything going on, if I happen not to survive the battle ahead because of alpha Jared's greed, Damion is likely not to want to live anymore. And the thought of him harming himself because of me is scaring the shit out of me.

But for now, I can only hope and pray that nothing bad happens to either of us or our friends. So I decided to put everything at the back of my mind for now and just think about us. I turned to look at him and I saw that he was already sleeping with his hand resting on my stomach. He must have been very tired because today had been filled with activities. Watching him as he sleeps made me realize how handsome he looks while sleeping. His face looks like that of a baby while he's sleeping. I traced his face with my fingers. He had very soft skin with a poin
