Ashina’s PoV

When we got back to the castle, I watched Lucas take Nathan into his chambers, I wanted to be close to him.

“You need to stay outside Ashina, he’s going to be treated, and seeing him go through these pains is a lot”

“I don’t mind” I stormed into the Healer’s chambers as he pointed to where I would sit. Lucas held me down there while Daniel held Nathan from moving, the ointment was placed on the wound, and Nathan growled in pain.

He was on the verge of shifting when he was sedated successfully by the Healer, Nathan’s body remained calm and felt more like he had never been injected.

“Nathan protected me at the cost of his own life, I’m indebted to him. I just hope he forgives me for the words I said to him” I said to myself as Lucas touched my palms.

“Why are you worried? Did you do something wrong to Nathan?” I wondered how Nathan could tell my feelings.
