Sonaya's Pov..

It was better this way.

To be left alone in the boot of the car, while silence reigned.

My mind though was a different matter entirely.

Thoughts raced through it like a car race was happening in my head.

Nothing, I mean absolutely nothing had gone according to plan.

I just kept replaying the scene of Alphonso slashing mother open again and again .

It just kept on playing and replaying in my head.

Soon it began to interchange with the scene of my real mum, being butchered like an animal, while I watched on.

Even then my tears were useless, just as they were some minutes ago.

How can someone, mother described as powerful be so useless?

Why on earth couldn't I do anything?

I just realised now that people always died around me and their deaths were never easy.
