Jenna’s POV

“Thanks babe” I muttered under my breath in a faint tone, holding onto Damien for support.

“You know, the doctor asked that you stay for a while” Damien suggested with a smile.

“I know..that…I just wanted to come home, to see what home looks like” I said, almost convincing myself of my illness.

“Roseline will prepare a hot bath, you just sit down and rest” Damien said, placing me calmly on the couch that sat in the middle of the room.

“Thank you” I answered calmly, adjusting myself.

“I love you, Damien” I said, he paused in his tracks, his lips curled in a think line.

“And I’m I’ll always be here for you love” he responded, planting a kiss on my forehead, he had suddenly become so gentle with me, I have to make sure he doesn’t slip from my fingers.

“The hot bath’s ready, I made sure myself, instead of having the maid do it” Roseline said as she walked into the living room.

“Thank you so much” I appreciated, excited, I took a stand from the couch, not having had a good bath
