“Where has she been to? She was just right here.”

You are hiding behind the sofa and you make sure that you won't be seen.

Oh poor, Monty! I also don't know why I'm hiding right now. Maybe because I know that I'm about to do something naughty?

I see Monty turning his head around the room and he tiptoed to check if I was near Luke's bedroom.

They never allowed me to go anywhere near Luke's room when he has a woman coming over.

But I'm a grown-up now! I don't understand it but I have an idea what those women are for. It makes me uncomfortable.

I was looking in the direction where Monty is but the light on my phone as I received a text message distracted me.

It's Jason!

I'll go change. I look like a mess, after all, I've been through.

And why do I feel like I have to look good when I meet Jason after what happened earlier? Ugh. My thoughts!

Well, I'm ready to get a breath of fresh air.

“We're outside.”

“Coming.”

I excitedly get in Jason's car and greeted him and the driver nicely.

“Well, good evening, you guys. Thanks for picking me up!”

“Glad you decided to come with me. Guess you still know how to have some fun.”

“Hey! I know how to have some fun. Shut up. Haha!”

I pat Jason's shoulder as we laugh together. I just awkwardly stopped when I see the driver strangely looking at me through the rear-view mirror.

“So, where are we going, mister fun-loving, huh?”

“Hey, bummer! Why would a fun-loving guy tell you? What's the fun in there?”

I chuckled as I looked at Jason crossing his arms and teasingly looking at me as I sit next to him.

“Fine, whatever! Surprise me.”

I turned my head and look in the rear-view mirror again.

Ugh! This is just so annoying. Why does he keep looking at me? It's giving me the creeps!

“Hey! What do you think are you doing?”

I see the driver suddenly look in a different direction - back to the road.

“what's wrong? Calm down! He's nice.”

“Well, I don't think staring at people is a nice thing to do. Hey! I am talking to you.”

“Whoa. Hey, relax. You are mistaken. I think he doesn't mean anything, right?”

I see Jason apprehensively leaning forward to confirm with the driver.”

“"I don't mean anything, sir." "Miss." He turned to me. "I am sorry if it appeared offensive to you."

“It didn't just come off offensive to me. It is offensive! Don't we all know that?”

“Hey, the person already apologized. Take a breather, please. “

“I know it has been a tough day for you but Please, Let's not make a big deal about this.”

I realized that I went way too much and I calmed down.

“Oh my god. That was embarrassing!”

“I wish I could have stayed longer with you at school earlier. I felt guilty when I got home. Glad you're here.”

“I hope my silence or gestures are enough for him to read the room.”

I awkwardly covered my head with my hand as I looked at the car floor.

“Hey, why so serious? “

“Oh, this is nothing. Just never mind me.”

I turned on my phone to send a text message.

“Your driver makes me feel uncomfortable.”

“What do you mean?”

“I caught him staring at me several times since he started driving.”

“Really? Let me see it myself. Let me handle it.”

“I see Jason look straight to the rear-view mirror as he clears his throat.”

“Nah! I'll just brush it off. I must have been just tired after all that has happened today.”

“So, tell me. How did you get home? Did you stay there longer?”

“What happened was even worse than that. Don't even start.”

“Hey, you can tell me. Come on!”

“Well. Let's make a deal. I will if you tell me where we are going. What do you think?”

“So, where are we now?”

I see Jason actively looking at the window. He was checking some landmarks to identify the place.

I guess this isn't the place we were supposed to go to. This is the suburbs. What is this place?
