40: I Dare You

Lilian's POV.

“Not now princess. Don't worry, you'll get to kiss me as much as you want. I just want you to o go through this easily,” He said softly, rubbing my waist.

I had no idea why his words made my jaws clench, I pushed him away, squeezing my lips as I thought of the most appropriate words to say.

“Ugh! You're so annoying. Why would you even come here if you're not going to let me kiss you. Ugh!” I snapped, my nostrils flaring.

Leon's face split with amusement, like he was trying his very best not to laugh at me in this moment.

My brows arched, “Oh so now I'm funny? You think I'm a clown right? I'm not even surprised.”

The moment I said those words, the laughter Leon had been trying to hold tore out of him. He laughed so hard, his hand curling around his belly and his eyes watering.

And then he came closer, his laughter slowly disappearing, “You have no idea how dramatic you are right now. It's rather cute to watch.”

I scoffed, “you're just saying that so I don’t forhet that I'm mad at you. Go away Leon! I'm not talking to you anymore.”

I made the move to turn around but then he held me back, pressing his lips against mine without warning. My insides burst with a squishy feeling as I pulled him closer to me, tilting my head as I switched between lips.

Right after that, I felt a trickle of fluid drop out of me. I broke the kiss, biting my lips in frustration.

*You're so cranky during this period. And I think I like it,” Leon grinned, pressing his lips against my forehead before he broke free. My cheeks burned with a mix of embarrassment and excitement as I turned around, “I didn't even know why I was mad. I just…”

“It's okay baby. By the way, do you need some help? I may be a bad cook but I could at least help with the chopping,” Leon suggested, joining me at the side of the table.

I smiled at him, “sure.”

Leon assisted me with the cooking and we didn't have much to talk about while we did that. We occasionally glanced at each other and he winked, making my heart flutter. If he wasn't winking, he was spanking me.

His presence made my chore but fun and risky at the same time. Cole arrived later and he was displeased to find Leon helping me. So Leon had to leave. By the time all three of us were done with our chore, it was already dusk.

I'd kept all the dishes I prepared in the refrigerator before heading out of the kitchen. Cole had suggested having movie night to cool off and that was what we were doing right now. Except that something else was going on….

Leon sat on the right, I sat close to him while Cole sat on the left. The LED screen displayed bluish light as we watched the movie. The movie was a mix of romance, action and comedy. And for everytime the characters in the movie kissed, Leon and I would touch each other's most sensitive parts. “Oh my God, I think I made the wrong movie choice! This characters won't stop smacking their damn lips,” Cole complained, stuffing his mouth with popcorn.

Leon and I exchanged knowing glances, smiling at each other. We knew why he was complaining.

“Perhaps if you weren't so single, then it would have been bearable to watch,” I teased, watching Cole's small eyes widen like I'd said the most abominable thing.

Leon held back a laugh but the moment Cole glared at him too, he burst into laughter. I also couldn't help the giggle. Cole hated being teased about not having a girl, and what he hated even more was having his two cousins laugh at him.

But with his face like that, it was impossible not to laugh.

“You silly dingleberries!” He barked with every ounce of seriousness but it only made us laugh harder.

Cole shook his head, looking frustrated as he returned his gaze to the screen. Our laughter slowly died down as we focused our attention on the screen. Just then, the characters kissed again.

Leon raised a brow, “What are you talking about?”

It was always the way Leon feigned ignorance that usually surprised me the most. He'd never outrightly admit to being caught doing something awkward.

“You looked like you were about to touch Lilian. Why?” Cole interrogated, making bile rise in my throat.

Leon rolled his eyes, shaking his head, “You're going to need wearing glasses. I was not trying to ‘touch’ Lilian. I was actually planning to steal some of your popcorn but you caught on too fast.”

Cole's face split with horror, “Thief! You're so lucky I didn't catch your hand in here. I'd have bitten it off.”

Leon snorted, “Bluff.”

“I dare you to try me,” Cole threatened, now turning to Leon on the couch.

That sounded like the start to an argument and I wasn't going to be in the middle of two grown ass guys bickering.

So I cleared my throat, slurping on my fruit juice, “Guys. We're supposed to be watching the movie. I think it's about to end.”

With a low growl, Cole returned his attention back to the screen, and Leon did the same.

I sighed softly as Leon and I interlocked hands on the couch, glancing at each other.
