It took two hours of going through the grimoire to find a good banishing spell. But even after finding it, I still had to practice. And that took a whole extra hour. By the time I was ready, it was one in the afternoon, but I felt ready.

“I think I’ve gotten a hang of it.” I told Elijah while he read through the complaints of the pack members that had been submitted to him.

He looked up at me, somewhat crossed eye and offered a tired smile.

“Are you ready then?” He asked and closed the folder in front of him.

“I think so.” I said as he rose, but I definitely need you close by for moral support.

“Then I’ll be there. Where do you want to do the spell?” He asked and I thought for a moment. I hadn’t really given it much thought before now.

“I guess the garden is a good place. Open, airy. Just enough space for all the magical mayhem, if any.” I told him, and he raised a brow.
