Chapter 58.

I looked up at the Devic company and remembered the first time i came here for my interview.

The building looked just as intimidating as it was a year ago when i first started working here. Too many memories washed over me with every step i took.

I walked in and moved over to the elevator. I remembered how i ran up to the elevator just as the door were about to close and Shawn held it open for me. I was shock struck by his sea blue eyes and his sweet manners.

I remembered the short time i spent with him in this elevator, trapped while playing a silly game.

I walked into the elevator when the door opened. I looked at the far corner where Shawn calmed me down when i was panicking that day. I saw the happy ghosts of ourselves, sitting on the floor and chatting away.

The elevator didn't betray me today. It spit me put on my floor and i hopped off.

As i was walking up to Shawn's office, i made sure to look around and my eyes landed on the door to the stare way. I couldn't help but smi
