Chapter 5

Damsel Restaurant.

Yvonne sat down at a reserved table, waiting for the date her father had set for her, classical music was playing in the background and there were only a few people there concentrating on their meal.

She glanced down at her watch and sip her red wine, she had been here for close to an hour now, but he was not still here, the people she had met in the past, no one dares to keep her this long. She sips her wine again, her eyes watching the entrance at everyone that enter the door.

She heard the glass door open and there the person she had been expecting, dressed in a grey top and black plain trousers, looking handsome and dazzling, her crush, the man she drools over his pictures every time she looks at it, he was stunning.

Russeli Walsh POV.

I smile when I saw the lady I was going to meet, one other victim I will have to break her heart, she was looking at me with a parted lips, I was sure she was admiring me, I love dressing up for my date, but still, I got my charms to work the magic for me.

I drew the sit across her and sat down. "My bad for keeping such a beautiful lady like you waiting," I said softly but I had that smirk on my face, I have purposely arrived at this time, I initially wanted to be here two hours late but I changed my mind.

"It's nothing, you are very popular, so it is okay for you to be late, you must be settling with your fans, you know, they are clingy sometimes." She spoke with excitement.

I rolled my eyes, they always do this time of this, and it was so boring to listen to. "Don't run to conclusions, I was not with any fan, I just slept in," I told her nonchalantly, I don't mind how she feels, it doesn’t matter to me, I knew I was being an asshole, but I hate this type of date and people who make excuses for others.

"Emm...I just thought." She said embarrassed, I raised my brow, that was a success, I hope she just keeps quiet while we order something, eat, leave this place and never meet again. "But it is too bad that you forgot our date and slept in."

I don't care, I ignored her, it's better to make them hurt and leave, but this one seems to be stubborn, I was expecting a splash of water on my face or an angry insult, it was what my other dates do when I offend them, but she seems so cool, which make it less fun.

"Well...So this is a date." I said indifferently like there was no one staring at me with that sad glance. I picked up the menu book and open it. "Let's order something." I snap my finger and a waitress came close and she was ogling at me with admiration on her face and that goofy smile.

I am popular so it was normal to have people look at me like this. "What would you like to be served?" She asked me with a soft voice and I knew she was trying to attract my attention, but my eyes were on the menu book. "I am a big fan of yours." She said softly.

"Oh." I smile and lift my hands to my chin, making sure to put the facial expression my fans always love.

"Can you sign on this for me?" She brought out her book and put it on the table next to me. I took out my pen and signed my autograph on her book, she giggled and thanked me. She took our order and left.

A few minutes later she served us some food and wine and left. "So what do you want us to do?" I asked her as I sip my wine, I had little appetite and watch her eat her meal softly, I knew she was trying to be careful to impress me.

"It's a date, so we should be like other couples." She told me and I raised my brow waiting for her to continue. "Let's go see a movie." She opened her purse and brought out two tickets. "Let's also see a music contest after the movie."

I curled my lips up with my hands on my chin. "You came prepared." I raised my drink to my lips again taking a large sip.

"Too bad I am was the only one excited." She put down the two ticket and continue her meal. I smirk, glad she knew, well I love playing my games.

"I did bring something." My word made her look up at me as I brought out a little box from my back pocket and I hand it over to her.

"Wow!" She was excited as she opened it. "It's a pretty necklace." She brought out the necklace, it had a beautiful diamond pendant and was expensive. "Would you mind putting it on me?" Her eyes were filled with glitters.

Ladies! I said in my head and got up from my chair, this was something I did for all the ladies my dad set for me. I took the necklace and placed it on her neck, she grins and touches it.

"How do I look, did It fit?" She asked, her hands still on the necklace, I return to my seat with a smile on my face, a face smile. "Yeah, it is pretty." I took a glance at it.

"I have not experienced any date like this." She started and I lean back on my chair as she continues. "As someone, you don't know, and just met the first day buying a gift that seems to worth more." She said softly.

I smirk, this was my moment to give her another turndown. "That’s what I do to every lady I meet the first day." Her face drop, and the excitement and all vanish, I smile in satisfaction, I knew I was a real asshole.
