Zayne’s POV

The moment I step inside the house, I know something is wrong, It’s too quiet, too empty for Ava to be inside.

My footsteps echo through the wide space as I stride forward, my pulse hammering so loudly that I could hear the sound.

I push open the first door on my right, my grip tight around the handle. Nothing. I check the next one empty. My movements grow rougher, more frantic, as I storm down the hall, yanking doors open, scanning every corner.

Still nothing.

Where the hell is she?

My jaw clenches. She should be here. I left her here.

I curse under my breath, frustration burning through me like wildfire. My body feels hot with irritation as I stand in the middle of the steps, my breathing harsh.

I pull out my phone, dialing Steve’s number, but before the call can connect, I stop.

No.

I exhale sharply and shove the phone back into my pocket. I need to calm down. I’m not going to act like some restless, desperate fool.

I turn on my heel, heading toward my room. I need a s

Ava’s POVTwo months later,It’s been two months since I saw my result. I had passed the required cut-off mark for my course, but I was still unsure if I would be admitted or not. Each day passed in a blur as I was neck deep in uncertainty. One morning, I decided to get something to eat when I noticed a brown envelope in my mailbox on my way out. Curious, I took it in to examine what was inside. When I saw the university seal on it, my heartbeat kicked up, and my arms trembled as I brought the letter out.I scanned through it and screamed when I saw the last line. “Dear Ava, after reviewing your application and test results, the university is delighted to inform you that you have been admitted to study marketing and business administration.”All my hard work had paid off. I could actually excel on my own. The feeling was liberating. I didn’t have to depend on anyone for my success. My determination and resilience had paid off, and this I said aloud as I shook the paper in the air. Thi

  • My Triplet Alphas   Chapter 119

Ava's POV After travelling all night in a night bus, I finally arrived at my destination. I was exhausted but more excited than ever. This was a new pack and I was glad to be here. As I stepped out of the bus, I took a few minutes to suck it all in. I could smell my fresh start already. This place was just as established as the pack I just left. Luckily for me, I was able to find an inn to spend the night. The next morning, I spent a few minutes taking in the new scenery before I went house hunting. After asking for a few directions, I was able to locate an apartment near a university. I got in touch with the owner, and she showed me around.“The last tenant was a sweet girl just like you. She used the room quite nicely if you ask me.” She said as she opened the door and ushered me in.She opened the windows to let fresh air into the room as I inspected the place. It was pretty decent. Smaller than the room I was given in the mansion, but at least it was mine.It would require a lo

Irish’s POV“I still don’t believe it,” I said. “She wouldn’t leave just like that. Not her. It was unlike her to behave in that manner.”Steve sat on the floor, holding his head. “She did, Irish. She left us. The high time you get that into your head, the better for you.”“No,” I shook my head. “She should have shouted at us, yelled at us, hit us or something. She didn’t even fight back. We pleaded with her and I remembered vividly she said we would earn her back. So she was not going to live up to those word's. She just… disappeared.”Zayne paced the room. His fists were tight, and his face was pale. “We hurt her. We let her down. We didn’t protect her. We let them throw her in the dungeon like she was nothing. We said we loved and cared for her and yet we believed a stupid accusation just like that. We didn't even fight and try to talk the elders and dad out of it. We allowed them to take her and treat her thrash. That was not fair.”Steve looked at me. “She was always quiet. You k

Zayne's POVI was seated at the garden opposite Ava's room since dawn as my eyes were permanently glued to her door not taking it off for a second.Steve and Irish joined me moments later as Steve dropped a cup of coffee in my hand. “Still hasn't come out of the room yet?” he asked and I nodded as I took a sip of the coffee, the hot liquid scalding my tongue.“Maybe she left earlier before we got here. You know how she's been trying to avoid us.” Steve suggested but Irish shook his head.“Even still, she should have come out already. It's past noon and there's been no sight of her.”“I agree with Irish.” I said, adjusting myself in the stiff chair. “Ava is always out of her room before noon. It's unusual. Unlike her.” I had been watching her routine for the past few days. She was always out before noon, she would take her breakfast, knit and take a stroll in the garden so something was definitely up today. “So, are you suggesting we go knock on her door?" Steve asked and I sighed. “

Ava's POV“The money would be given to you in two days' time,” the Alpha announced, and relief washed over me.The storm raging in me vanished, and I sighed. “Thank you, Alpha,” I said in a soft voice, bowing deeply. He had made the right decision and helped me get justice against my stepmother.I had won the fight, and I loved the victory that came with it. He gave a soft grunt, and I was dismissed.I was so lost in thought on my next course of action when I suddenly bumped into a hard wall on my way out.The wall vibrated against my cheek, and I frowned as I took a step back and looked up. This wasn't a wall.

  • My Triplet Alphas   Chapter 115

Author’s POVEveryone looked shocked. Ava was not left aside. She was shocked at her response. Seriously? Labelling her as a witch? Wait a minute. How did she say it? A demon in human flesh! Is that not too much? The people didn't move, and none of them spoke. Her strong mother smiled widely and looked around the room like she was proud of her handiwork. She stepped forward and spoke again. Her stepmom's statement should be deleted. Use this Instead. “She is my stepdaughter,” she said. “She’s my stepdaughter. I adore her since the death of her father, no one would want or cherish her after the death of my beloved husband, but I took her in, I decided to accept her as my own,” the stepmother paused, fake tears fell from her face, and Sarah handed her a handkerchief. She looked at the elders. She looked at the Alpha.“I was a kind woman. I saved her life. I washed her up and made her clean. I gave her food, clothes, and everything she will ever need in life. I brought her up like my
