Ava’s POV

I let out a long quiet breath the moment Vanessa was gone. My fingers were still slightly stiff from how tightly I’d held her wrist, and my chest ached from holding my breath too long.

Even though Venessa walked away, I knew it wouldn’t be the end. I knew her well enough to know she’d come back harder. Vanessa wasn’t the type to lose and stay quiet. She’d wait for the right moment to make me pay for daring to stand up for myself.

But even knowing that, I didn’t feel scared.

I pulled in another deep breath, pushing my hair away from my face, and slowly turned back toward my locker. My legs felt heavy, like they wanted to give up, but I forced them to move.

When I reached my seat, I sat down with a heavy breath, my eyes scanning my desk, the thought of Zach dropping another unrequited gift lump around me.

I swallowed hard, my fingers hesitated on the lock for a moment before I pulled the desk open.

The first thing I did was look inside. My eyes swept every corner, half-expect

  • My Triplet Alphas   Chapter 113

Ava’s POVI woke up early the following morning with one thought in mind: to see the Alpha and make my case known to him. Last night's dream still lingers in my mind, and to be honest, it is what is really fuelling me to do this. I would never have thought in my entire life that I would rise against my stepmother, but it is what it is. I had a lot to do today.I got out of bed slowly. My legs felt weak. I sat at the edge of the bed and stared at the floor, still having double thoughts about all these.“I have to do this,” I whispered to myself. “I have to get justice. I can’t let them win. I can't let them go scott free. She has to pay for it.”I took a deep breath and stood up. I went to the bathroom, washed my face, and looked in the mirror. My face looked pale from everything that had been happening lately. It was not the same as it used to be. My eyes were tired. I am tired too. I didn’t care about it anyway.I got dressed in something simple but neat. I didn’t want to look weak.

  • My Triplet Alphas   Chapter 112

Ava's POVBefore I left the club, finally, Susan promised to help me get the statement of some of our regular customers testifying that I was forced against my will to strip after I explained to her what my stepmom had done. I couldn't do it myself to avoid risking my cover. If I stayed too long at the club, the chances that my step mum would find out were high, so I could only trust Susan to help me out with this. Now, there was just one place left to go to. I got to the familiar street of my home. I crossed over to the next house and knocked. Even though it had been a while since we communicated, my stepmom restricted me from going because this woman was the only person who treated me right since I lost my two parents. My stepmom noticed this and warned me to not knock on her door, but not anymore. I had no option but to go, she’s the only one who can help me with this.I sighed in relief when I recognized the elderly woman who opened the door.“Ava!” Mrs Georgia exclaimed, her f

  • My Triplet Alphas   Chapter 111

Ava's POVAfter my talk with the triplets, I was sure they wouldn't pester me again till I was ready to talk to them.Deciding to pass the rest of the time in peace, I picked up a piece that was yet to finish knitting. It was a skirt this time.Knitting has somehow become a peaceful activity for me. When I was knitting, it felt like I had created a silent bubble around myself that enclosed just me and my thoughts.Humming to myself, I carefully passed the wool over and under each loop, repeating the process until the shape of the skirt began to form.Midway through my knitting, my hands went utterly still as a thought suddenly crossed my mind.It was someone's fault that I ended up like this in the first place. And whose fault was it if not my stepmother? She was the foundation of my problems. If only she had treated me right and allowed me to stay in the house, I would have never met the triplets or, worse still, been involved with them in any manner. If she had shown me the love of

  • My Triplet Alphas   Chapter 110

Ava's POVI could see them from the look on their faces , they were enraged I did that. Well I didn't give them the chance to do what I knew was running through their mind: yelling at me, demanding why I did that. I held the cat that was playing on my feet close and tightly to my chest, I grabbed what I was knitting and walked away from them.I didn’t care if they were calling me. I didn’t care what they wanted to say. I didn't care if what I did was wrong. I didn't care if I was supposed to wait back. I heard them start talking. They called Zach's name. I heard one of them and I am guessing the person is Zayne; he threatened to kill him. Irish and Steven joined him threatening to kill him. Although they made my chest tight, it didn't make me stop. I didn't turn back, I kept walking.

  • My Triplet Alphas   Chapter 109

Ava's POVJust as I was about to make the final stitch on the sweater I was knitting, someone appeared in my line of vision.Slowly, I looked up and saw the last person I wanted to see. I wanted to stand up to leave, but I decided against it. I didn’t want him to think I was afraid of him.Instead, I appeared to look unfazed as I returned to my knitting, ignoring him completely.“Aren't you going to talk to me, Ava?” Zach asked slowly. I let his words pass through one ear and leave through the other.“I know you're upset with me, Ava. I'm sorry for what I did at the mating ceremony. I'm

  • My Triplet Alphas   Chapter 108

Writer’s POVThe Alpha of the pack watched from his window as servants and workers moved around. Repair was ongoing within the territory.Never in his life had he imagined that a day would come when he would see his territory almost in ruins. The workers wore tired looks on their faces, and he knew they were exhausted, yet they were all determined to finish their work. The thought caused a pang of hurt to pass through his chest because he knew they were all working hard to honour their dead Luna.He mind linked one of his guards. “Tell the workers to take a rest for now. They can continue their work in the morning,” he instructed. “That's an order.”The Alpha's solemn gaze did not change as he stared blankly at the sky. Even if they were able to repair the damage and make everything look as good as new, the emotional damage couldn't be repaired. Nor could his dead Luna ever be brought back to life.He caught his reflection in the window and sighed. He seemed to have aged over the pas

  • My Triplet Alphas   Chapter 107

Writer’s POVAfter the investigation had proved Vanessa to be guilty, she had been locked up in her room. Being stripped of her freedom and not being able to interact with anyone was slowly bringing her apart. The lines of her face were filled with anxiety, and she chewed on her fingernails till they bled to ease some of the tension. She clenched and unclenched her fists as she paced up and down her room. ‘What was going on out there?’ She thought to herself. ‘Why hasn't anyone come for her yet?’Vanessa decided to exercise some patience. She sat on her bed and tapped her foot anxiously, occasionally glancing at the door for any sign of movement.

  • My Triplet Alphas   Chapter 106

AVA'S POVI could sense their footsteps behind me as I walked away. They were really bent on disturbing my peace. As if torturing me in the dungeon wasn't enough. There was no way I could get rid of them since they were the sons of the Alpha and practically ruled the land I was standing on.Silently, I ignored their presence and walked into the room, leaving the door open to save myself the hassle of having to open it for them because fighting was no use. The triplets always got what they wanted. I learned that the hard way.I sat down on the bed without a word as their presence filled the room. They shuffled uncomfortably on their feet, clearly affected by my nonchalance. But I was done kissing up to people's feet. If there was anything staying in the dungeon taught me, it was living for myself, and I planned on doing so.Though I was playing the role of not acknowledging their presence quite well, I couldn't help but hear their hushed whispers.“Who's going to talk to her?” Iris ask

  • My Triplet Alphas   Chapter 105

Zayne's POV Steven turned towards me, “What do you mean by that?" I couldn’t keep quiet anymore and pretend as if everything was fine, “I’m going to tell the truth, I’m going to tell the Alpha what Vanessa did, I cannot hide this, seriously, I cannot,”Steven shook his head fast, sadly, “No, you’re not doing that alone.” Iris stepped forward from leaning on the wall, “He’s right, Zayne, we all go together or we don’t go at all.”“But I was the one who doubted Ava most, I let her get locked up, I didn’t even try hard enough to stop it, I didn't even try to alter dad's and the elders decision about locking her up in the dungeon, I believed her and allowed them to go ahead and lock her up” Steven looked at me, his face was so sad, I could feel all the emotions he was not pouring out on it, “We’re all guilty, don’t act like you’re the only one who failed her,“Still, I need to do it, it’s eating me alive.” I took a step forward and then backward Steven stepped closer, “Then let it ea
