Chapter XV: I'll do everything

Akira woke up with tears streaming down her cheeks. She was about to wipe it when someone’s warm fingertips did it for her. And that’s when she rose from the bed only to find the familiar face that she least expected to see.

A pair of clear and deep blue eyes stared at her, and his long hair was tied back neatly again.

Her brows arched, and uneasiness and anger were visible on her face. She remembered all of what had happened between them.

“Why are you still here?” Akira's coldness was much worse. How could she be okay? She just dreams of the nightmare she's been escaping for years and he's a vampire he detests.

Leon stares at her and breathes in before he answers, “I was about to leave when I noticed you were crying. Did you...perhaps have a bad dream?”

Akira tightens the grip of the bed sheets covering her as she avoids that curious yet affectionate gaze of Leon, “Such nonsense. Just...get out, will you? My neck still hurts because of you.”
